I spent around 10 to 15 dollars on a few higher priced items and they turned out to be stale. To make matters worse I actually ended up getting sick after eating them. As for the service it was alright overall. The store was very busy and there were only two tellers working but they were pretty fast and I was able to check out at a quick pace. The ambience was nothing crazy to talk about and it just looks like a standard small bakery with some seating. Typically when I have an experience like this I choose not to return. My friends have invited me back since then but after that first experience I just do not have any interest in going back.

Dough is sweet and fluffy with their bbq pork filling. For 3.00 a bun, it was quite smaller than I remember. The ratio of the dough and filling was also not as portioned. Some bites you just get the dough. First time having their steam chicken buns and was surprised to see that it was sliced chicken with veggies and a slice boiled egg. This was not it for me. It was like eating a stir fry in a bun. Though this bun was bigger and more portioned than the steam pork buns. This was also my first time trying their Shumai dumplings. The flavor was there. A nice umami flavor. But I was missing the bouncy texture of the meat. And for 4 for 7.00 they were pretty small (compared to the dim sum places). I ordered it in advance I paid the deposit this way when I went to pick it up I didn't have to stand on the long line I had to stand on the prepaid line and the servers was happy to assist me and to give me my order. I got the tiramisu cake for the colleague which is their favorite I ordered that and I took it myself to my job everyone was pleased everyone was happy with the celebration. They were moist without being overly sweet, which I really appreciated. You can tell they use quality ingredients, and they paired perfectly with a morning coffee. The bakery itself had a welcoming atmosphere, and the staff was friendly during my visit. There was a nice selection of baked goods, so I'd definitely be interested in coming back to try some of their other pastries and desserts. The only reason I'm giving 4 stars instead of 5 is because I wish there were a few more muffin flavors available when I stopped by. Went in for a pickup and we were serviced fast with only a couple minutes wait for the cakes to be bagged and brought out.
