It's way better than it needs to be, and the people of Muncie are lucky to have it. What I like about this store is that it feels very cozy. There are cramped hallways filled with comics, plus small rooms with bookshelves of graphic novels and action figures. It's a lovely feeling to be surrounded by so many stories and ideas. One of the rooms has a nice little chair at which to sit and read. Another room has toys and action figures and Funko Pop characters. A whole wall is dedicated just to Funko! It was oh-so quiet when I visited, which was nice because then I could just browse and look around without distractions. The people behind the counter were super friendly, and ready to answer questions or joke around -- it seemed like they were down for whatever. One of the things I love about this comic book store is that they have a designated section for young children, with comic book and graphic novel recommendations. Their recs were spot-on, too. Last Saturday, I thought it a bit strange to leave the two basketball games and find that the place was closed at 9:00 p.m. Wouldn't people want to order pizza after a game? Tonight, there was only one game and I arrived at 7:30. Everyone working there was friendly. As they were mopping, I thought that they were closing early, even though it said 9:00 p.m. for closing. I ordered a mini pizza with "The Works" and the clerk told me that it would be 6 minutes and asked if that was still okay. I usually wait at least 10 minutes for pizza elsewhere. They didn't ask me to pay until the pizza was done. The price wasn't bad but I had hoped for some pizza + drink special which they didn't have--something other Noble Roman kiosks have. The pizza was good and the ingredients were sufficient. I'll return more than a few times. The Mountain Dew didn't have any funny flavor and the mix was good. I didn't really notice a lot of their prices but they were consistent with a convenience store. Update: They've changed the pizza and it is worse. I took the pizza to the counter to talk to the person working there because it doesn't look anything like The Works pizzas I've had--other than being circular with a crust--and I was told that some of the ingredients were under the cheese now. I was told that they're not buying green peppers any longer. It didn't taste right, so unless I'm having a strong desire for that pizza, I won't return. They're still friendly and helpful but it's just another convenience store now.

The store carries beautiful mantillas that are created locally as well as imported from Spain. One can also find a nice selection of DVDs, and if one wants to rent them, they can be loaned for $3/weekly. At this store we found many Traditional Catholic books such as The Three Conversions in the Spiritual Life by Reginald Garrigou-Lagrange, The 1962 Roman Missal by Baronius Press, Faith of our Fathers (Vol 1-3) by Fr Jurgens and the original (not revised) Baltimore Catechism.
