Since then, Dairy Queen as a whole has been displaced from the top of my list, first by Harvey's then by Burgermeester. (And now, the new and improved A&W has snuck past DQ into third place.) But still, if I'm looking for a burger and there's a DQ in the area, I'll go there more often than not. But, sadly, not this one. It's not actually bad, you understand. But it just kind of feels like they're phoning it in. I'd still take this DQ over, say, McDonald's. But it's just not as good as other DQs. (And, unfortunately, with Sheetz, Burger King, and Arby's all fairly close, it's just got too much competition for my taste buds.) The restaurant was clean. It's hard to find another place with as much value as DQ. You get a lot of food for a little cost. The food and ice cream was out quickly and tasted great. It's got just about everything you're looking for, except high-end pricey stuff. I usually find everything I'm looking for, except this one time, I was looking for a shower caddy. The manager said they didn't carry them at our location. A couple weeks later, they had shower caddies. Thank you, Dollar General and our great manager, Gary, for getting this item in the store. They are always expanding and getting new items. The salespeople are always so friendly and very helpful (Laura is my favorite DG helper). I always leave with a smile on my face. Don't know what I'd do without my Dollar General.
