The staff member that attended to us was so knowledgeable and kind, we wanted to stay for hours (even though we couldn't). The wines you select for tasting come in a little box with fact sheets about each wine underneath the tasting glasses, which I loved. Having the wines served this way allowed us to sit and savour and not feel rushed to have the next pour. And about the wines - excellent! We went home with a couple of bottles, with the chardonnay as a clear winner. Come check this place out next time you're in the area, you won't be disappointed.

As you travel the once fertile lands of British Columbia committing your best Immortan Joe impression in search of aqua cola and lamenting on the fall of mankind while still yearning for when the planet's fate was dictated by immature jingoistic monsters that brought the world to this point in the first place, you will still find at least one place that will serve wine. Yeah, that was meant to be humorous, and now I want to have a shower. Terravista is a bunker. A beautiful well-crafted bunker. Depending on where the blast the wave hits, it could sweep over the hill and not even jostle the glasses on the table. If the nuclear fire moves up the hill from the opposite direction, Terravista is screwed...as will most likely many people, but I'm focusing on priorities here. The wind foretells such a fate, as even on the day we arrived, glasses were tumbling like lemmings to their fate. The required clarification is that one does not enter Terravista but rather stand at the cusp, with garage doors revealing the vault to the public and the host serving at the border, almost as if assuming some higher echelon of society, royalty offering handouts to the poor. Restating how stunning the location is, I must also stress the view as breathtaking. I have no idea how or why I would've skipped this on my previous wine trip when my girlfriend and I visited 60 wineries in a week. I know we were pressed for time, but even a cursory Google search check claimed this one of the mandatory visits in Naramata. One even declared Terravista the best-looking wineries in the region and one of the best in Canada. It can hold such a title if one embraces a style blending art deco and brutalism. I am one of those, so can agree the assertion is valid. The view alone is worth the visit, and due to the construction above, is unimpeded. If you are a viticulture vacationer desiring locations as much as wine, this is the mandatory spot. However, I should also stress that there is far better wine to be found. Far better. Not only would I not put Terravista in the top three, I fear it may not even break the top ten, sitting somewhere around 11 or 12. This is not to say it's bad--there are 24 other wineries, and some are much worse. I did enjoy the experience but walked away with no bottles. But that didn't make it regrettable, and if taking friends along, would hit up Terravista again in a heartbeat. It's a fantastic location, and I have horrible taste in wine. I need to emphasize that. I love Silver Sage, so feel free to discredit me. But the location is great, and it should be on your list.

The boozes were crazy delicious and the view is truly spectacular! We returned this past weekend and discovered a beautiful transformation! Apparently, for the winter months they've opened as a lounge! Now serving cocktails and amazing looking snacks (including fresh made salsa!) it retains its gorgeous charm, while adding an extra cosy element. We did a tasting flight again, served in beautifully elegant glasses, and damn they are awesome! The vodka is creamy and smooth, the gin is herbalicious, and don't even get me started on their smoked rosemary gin. SMOKED. ROSEMARY! FOR REAL! Boyfriend and I both bought a bottle because REASONS. It is so crazy amazing!! And apparently really awesome mixed with a strong ginger beer, which I can't wait to try. Go. Now. Do not pass go, do not collect $200 (although make sure you bring a bunch of money for booze!) just GO and enjoy!!

Is that Nichol Vineyard management employee named ; Marc Sllngsby Jones ? That same employee also was - each time he drove that tractor by today, (without our consent) trying to film us with his cell phone while hazardously navigating a tractor thru Douglas Buchanan's vineyard. Then upon leaving Buchanan's vineyard , that same employee (probably angry Marc) used his tractor machinery to intentionally create a massive cloud of dust all along the public (unpaved) road he utilized to access the vineyard- which significantly and for no agricultural purpose hazardously reduced the air quality for the nearby neighbors. Yesterday , on 2023/08/01 - Nichol Vineyard Managment employee ; Marc Slingsby Jones dismounted from the seat of the tractor/sprayer he was driving to then blatantly lie about that he is acting in compliance to his employers'(Ross Hackworth) recommendations to not tractor spray within 50ft of our private property and daily food supply. Marc Slingsby Jones was then informed that he was not successful that same morning in trying to sneak by first thing in the early hours to tractor spray agricultural chemicals in unacceptably close proximity to our private property and daily food supply -while perhaps thinking all of these concerned neighbors may still be asleep and so not catch him trying to get lazy - ignoring our peaceful agreement with Ross Hackworth to hand-spray only within 50ft of our private property and daily food supply. Why is Marc Slingsby Jones acting so sinister ? During the month of May 2023 , Marc Slingsby Jones had been 'stalking' his assault victim with a companion. Marc Slingsby Jones eventually then approached his (agr.spray) victim while his 'companion/assistant' lurked behind , partially hidden behind the bushes near the cemetery. Marc Slingsby Jones then called out to his victim & said he plans to spray agr. chemicals in close proximity to his victim again while also complaining that he has a chip on his shoulder towards property owners because he cannot afford to own a home in Naramata. Marc Slingsby Jones was then reminded by his agr. spray assault victim that Marc's boss ; Ross Hackworth, stated that they would hand-spray only within 50ft of our private property but Marc then tried to ignore that information. What is the trade name of the agricultural chemical NICHOLE vineyard management was spraying ? (2023/08/08- no reply) Was the 'NICOLE' employee's name who was spraying ; Marc Slingsby-Jones ?
