Worst staffing agency experience ever…read more It's crazy because I worked with Apple One in Florida when I lived there and had a wonderful experience, which is why I went to them first when I graduated from graduate school. I needed a job before July so I went to them in April expecting that this would be more than enough time for them to hook me up with a job. The woman I met with was nice enough, but I did have a strange feeling about her. She didn't seem to be listening while I was talking, and if I'm being quite honest she seemed a little inebriated, but she assured me that she'd find me a job by June at the latest. I called the last week in May to see if there were any updates because she wasn't getting in touch with me, and I was told she was in a meeting and would call me back. So I waited...and waited...and waited. I didn't want to be pesky so I waited a full week before calling again only to be told she was in a meeting again and would call me back ASAP. So I waited...and waited.. and waited. This time I only let a few days go by before I called again but by then I was fed up. I called and finally got in touch with the person who was handling my file only to be told the company she put me forward for passed on me weeks ago and she hadn't put me forward for any other jobs. It was a complete waste of time and energy. The worst part was that she completely got my hopes up. You shouldn't ensure you can find someone a job if you can't. This is people's livelihood. Also what the hell was wrong with them that they couldn't call back. It was totally unprofessional and I will never work with them again. I would not recommend Apple One unless you have time to waste.
