It's in the center end of the Town Centre. The shopping centers overall is good. There are a variety of stores, food, the movie theater and a few necessity spots for example a Dentist. Some may say why put one in a shopping centre but I've seen this more often than you may think. It doesn't hurt for convenience, so I don't have any negative feedback on that.

A gas station, a dry cleaners, a nail shop and a donut shop. They also have four sit down restaurants, a take-out restaurant and a Dunkin. The only thing missing from the menu is an ice cream place. There's enough parking but the layout is limited. There is only one exit to the shopping center plus the one for the gas station. It's got a tight corner up against US 29 and Johns Hopkins Road. And there isn't a possibility add an outbuilding with a drivethrough. But it's clean, it has good coverage (I was here when it was pouring down with rain and I was dry) and it has enough lighting to feel safe.

New stores have opened this year and others are coming soon. The center's sidewalks are lined with planters full of brightly colored flowers making it quite attractive. There is a small patio area between two of the stores with artificial grass providing some greenery. Replacing the a grocery store that relocated years ago is Sprouts, which features many organic and plant based foods. It has departments with produce, bakery items, a deli, meat and seafood, prepared meals to go, frozen foods, and pantry items. It also carries frozen crab cakes and a frozen pizza brand that were both rated "the best" in separate reviews. The crab cakes are Sprouts' own brand and the pizza is one I haven't found anywhere else. Much to my surprise a review of grocery stores rated Sprouts as number one. Also open in the shopping center are a new TJ Maxx, Ulta, and Moby Dick Kabobs. Planned businesses include a Domain Fitness, an Eggspectation restaurant. and a bank, among others. Burtonsville Crossing is located right off Columbia Pike and there is plenty of parking. I'm happy to see the area thriving again.

Has to one of the worst-thought out shopping centers in the world. Basically one way in and one…read moreway out (unless you know there is a nearly hidden 'back' entrance). The 'main drag' meanders and snakes through the center with parking and stores on both sides, then makes a sharp left.....and then more meandering. Do not try to make a left turn out of any parking area without having about 20 minutes to wait for a break in the traffic coming from both directions. I try not to come here, but needed a book that I did not have time to order online. And the bookstore? That's another review, and not a good one either.

She went to the counter, counted the money really well and it was $2,800.00. She gave it to the rep taking her of her, his name was Dwayne and as he was counting he let $200 fall on the floor and told her she was missing $200 from the amount she had just given him. she told him he was wrong and that there was a mistake because she had counted the money, she was with her boyfriend there and he saw it. She asked for the manager who basically ignored her, my aunt started recording the situation and tried to look behind the counter and found 1 $100 bill. My aunt speaks little to no English and she felt she wasn't given the attention she deserved or the manager was racist or something of the sort because the manager refused to go through the cameras to check how the rep stole the money. Of course there's been changes over the years…read more There's a fair amount of shopping and dining options: Dollar Tree, Aldi (used to be Safeway) Petco, Chipotle, Best Buy, Michael's, T-Mobile, Subway, Cleaners, Lowe's and more. I remember going to the Best Buy on Black Friday with my family to get a big screen TV many moons ago. That Best Buy is still there. I frequent the Ross here. It's not my favorite but it's decent most times. On occasion I'll pop into DSW! My go to for alterations is the cleaners. They do an amazing job with reasonable prices. I like that they've added a CAVA! Parking is never an issue!

Anchored by Lowe's and Safeway, with Best Buy, Staples, Navy FCU, Modell's, Micheal's, DSW, 5 Below, and a few smaller shops. Restaurants are Potbelly, Famous Dave's, Red Lobster, Chipotle, Wendy's, and Teppanyaki buffet. Sorry if I missed any, they're all pretty forgettable. There are entrances from US 1 southbound, and exit only in that direction, plus traffic lights on the roads at either end if you need to go northbound. Be careful of pedestrians (and of cars when walking) because the main traffic lanes are between the stores and the parking.

It was right in the middle of all of the restaurants and other venues. I got the chance to meet Kwame Alexander. I love his books. I will now be in attendance of Books in Bloom annually. So much fun!
