Very nice and professional! He also put air in my tires because they were all low. I noticed that the tire light was on but I just had it serviced at Audi DTLA and they couldn't seem to get any of the lights on dashboard to stop so I've been driving with low pressure in my tires for 3 months and they are about to get a very bad review.

After discovering the intake air hose on my vehicle was cracked causing me to fail a Smog Check, I…read moreimmediately asked friends and family if they knew of any trustworthy and knowledgeable mechanics who could fix this. Though I spoke with several different individuals and shops, none were able to complete this specific repair surprisingly. Some shops just never got back to me. I turned to Yelp, and though I received several replies regarding my request for a quote, most advised that I bring the car in for a preliminary diagnostic (accompanied by a flat rate) and then they would quote how much the actual part and labor would be (more $$$) Enter Armen from Hollywood Star Smog Check & Auto Repair who not only responded quickly but clearly with my exact request - a flat quote for the part and labor. I gave him the green light, and he ordered the part from the vehicle manufacturer, and confirmed how long the fix would take and when to come in. I went in this morning, and everyone was kind and helpful. Armen even showed me the cracked hose after he took it out of my car and explained why he prefers to get manufacturer's parts when he can for specific issues My car passed its Smog Check after this repair. I will definitely return to Hollywood Star Smog Check & Auto Repair if my car needs anything else in the future.
