She was going to work on his teeth for a procedure he didn't need. No apology from the doctor herself. The girl that brought him back told him to wait in another room while she gets the doctor. After waiting very long in another room, my husband got disgusted and left. No apologies were given. She also worked on me and while doing a procedure for a crown I wound up with a root canal instead. She somehow went to far with the drilling and exposed a nerve. Horrible experience.

Despite my hatred for dental work, I must give her office five stars. :) I think her prices are a bit higher than others in the area, but since my insurance covers it, I don't see it in my bill. I'm sure that helps pay for her newly renovated office, which is fantastic. Little TVs in each station, great lighting and a fully digital office...it's a techie haven. And I've never waited more than 15 minutes past my appointment. The only things that I dislike are that most of the treatment rooms are in full view of the traffic walking into the office (kind of awkward) and the fact that I've had three different hygenists over 4 appointments. I wish they'd always book you with the same person. I suppose I could request it, though?

Then I had a root canal and the majority of it was done by a technician. She had a tough time getting the dam off of the tooth and basically just pulled and pulled until it let loose. Seems like it's a money machine with very little regard to the customers. That is my experience. I'm sure that others find them perfectly fine.

NO STARS!!!! First of all, you can only get an appointment for regular dental exams every 8-9…read moremonths. In the 3 years I was a patient there, I had billing problems on 3 different occasions. The first was in 2023 when I had a $15 co-pay for my insurance. I was billed an extra charge above and beyond my co-pay. When I said that was an over charge, they acted like I was being unreasonable but after complaing the charge was take off my account. About a year later, I had a claim totally denied by my insurance because it was submitted with my last name spelled incorrectly. I was last there in Dec. 2025. I had to have an extra treatment because of a problem that was caused due to my not being able to get my 6-month cleaning done in 6 months. I should have been seen in October and only got the December appointment because I asked to be placed on the cancellation list. It was a move up from my scheduled appointment in January. They are so over-booked that they can't keep up with regular maintenance for their patients. I was quoted a charge of $70 for the extra treatment, which I paid that day before I left the office. At the end of January, I received a statement showing a balance due of $76 and the only description on my statement was that it was for "EOB adjustment". I didn't know what that was so I called the office on 1/27/26, the day I received the statement in my email. I was told someone would call me back. I didn't hear from anyone for a week so I called again on 2/2/26. I was also told then that the person who does the billing is very busy looking up errors. This made me wonder if I was not the only person with billing questions. Finally, on 2/16/16 I received a phone call saying that the charge was an error and that it would be removed from my account. Needless to say, I have found another dentist and I'm hoping for the best.

I found Serenity by google as I needed to find a new provider since moving from NJ. I called for…read morethe Stroudsburg location as this was closer, however the days did not work for my availability. Eventually I scheduled for the Bethlehem location. I chose this provider because they were flexible, the additional services provided a luxe experience and the customer service representatives were friendly and helpful. I completed my files ahead of time electronically which was great and made check in easy. The day of my appointment, I was greeted by a woman with an amazing smile and top notch personality. Immediately I felt like I needed to be here. They are currently undergoing renovations as this is the secondary location, however the front end of the office looks superb. When brought to the back rooms for dental work is where the atmosphere is dated and not the same as the newly renovated office or the STROUDSBURG location. My cleaning with Clara? and exam with Dr. Taormina was amazingly thorough, however my experience lacked what I was essentially looking for and could have received at the other location. This is the only reason why I gave 4 stars and look forward to my 6 month exam when everything will be completed and brand new! Again- I loved everything and everyone, just a little sad that I didn't get the full Serenity experience. Thanks again!
