Shout out to Mr Sauce for preparing and assembling the parmigiana. Layer after layer of awesome sauce, eggplant, cheeses and seasonings. Truly tasty and satisfying and can't remember the last time I've enjoyed eggplant parmigiana for this good .. . aaah, yes, my moms! While there, I also purchased a container of broccoli rabe and one chocolate chip biscotti. Both were authentically prepared with quality ingredients resulting in great flavors. First time there after watching their videos on Facebook. The food really was delicious! My hubby had tortellini with shrimp and I had eggplant parmigiana with polenta. Everything was fresh and homemade. Then we got the zeppoli flight to go for later. I liked that it was BYOB. The only reason they didn't get 5 stars is that the place is sooo small, diners sit very close to each other, and there is no table service (you go up to the counter to order but they do bring you your food). If you want a soda, you get a can from a mini fridge in the dining area. Several delivery people came in while we were there and then they also take up space that's already crowded. However, it won't stop us from going again. Looking forward to warmer weather when we can eat outside. Everyone was very friendly, though, and while we got entrees, the sandwiches also looked tremendous! The aim to please, that's for sure! read more

Came here after a long day snowboarding at Blue Mountain. How could i not go to a place called Sauce? It's a cozy family spot. a few tables. very friendly staff. for my app, i got Mozzarella in carroza. It's 3 pieces of fresh bread layered with mozzarella cheese and is deep fried with a side of marinara sauce. So good ! I could eat that anytime. For my meal, i got Penne Alla Vodka. The food here is great, and there is A TON of it! Portion sizes are massive here. I have tried just about everything here and have not been disappointed. The plates may look a little messy at times but the taste is there. The place is small. REALLY small. Just a few tables inside and a few outside when the weather is nice. You order at the counter and they bring it to your table when ready. Drinks are cans/bottles from a reach-in and desserts are available as well. The staff is great. Definitely a small family operation. They always have a smile and are willing to accommodate you to the best of their ability. My only little complaint is that they seem to close randomly for different reasons. I'm not saying they aren't good reasons, but they happen pretty often. I took a chance and ordered from here after seeing a review of their Famous OMG chicken sandwich on Facebook. I did think OMG as advertised but not for the reason I thought I would. I was seriously underwhelmed and expected so much more from a $19 sandwich. The cutlets were good but the rest was pretty generic. The roll, cheese, vodka sauce, and pesto were no better than anywhere else. Cost $94 ordered 2 Amice dinners (2 meatballs , eggplant parm & penne) consisted mostly penne, decent size meatballs and a slice of eggplant that was so small you could barely taste the eggplant. A hidden gem that is absolutely worth visiting regularly! From the imported desserts from Naples, Italy, to their huge sandwich portions, you can't go wrong. Their OMG special sandwich is OMG-delicious, hoping it stays a regular menu item. We also ordered the cheesesteak and pork sandwich, which both came with fries. We didn't plan on getting dessert, but the fridge filled with different cakes were too good to pass up. Extremely friendly staff, with a warm and welcoming ambiance inside. They have few tables inside and outside umbrella tables if you choose to stay. Will 100% be back the next time we're in town to try something else on the menu (or just relive the delicious meal we had again). read more

What an incredible hidden gem! It was absolutely slammed when I arrived and placed a takeout order around 6:30pm on Thursday night. So busy, in fact, that they had to close to orders for the rest of the night just a few minutes later. I was quoted a 35-40 minute wait for my food, which I didn't mind considering how busy they were. It ended up being closer to 50 minutes, but I felt empathetic toward the staff for dealing with a busy night and lots of delays. I waited patiently, and when my order was ready, the owner, Margaret, refused to let me pay! She thanked me for patiently waiting, and apologized profusely. She even tried to give me a real metal fork when no disposables were available! Of course I would have gladly paid for my meal, but I am so appreciative of Margaret's kindness. And to top it all off, my Chicken Bacon Ranch flatbread and Italian Rainbow Cake were fantastic! Ok, so, let me start by saying I had really high hopes. I have been following their social media accounts for awhile now, and everything always looked great. Tonight we decided to give it a try. We ordered 2 of the O.M.G chicken sandwiches and a bucket of spuds with the 2 dipping sauce; cheese sauce and the chipotle aioli. The chicken sandwich is advertised as having buratta, the ones we got unfortunately, did not have buratta, but instead mozzarella, and very little of it. Now the sauces however, were delicious; the vodka sauce was great, the pesto, amazing; nonetheless couldn't disguise how dry the chicken was. Overall, wouldn't say it was worth the 18.95, especially without the buratta. Now on to the spuds, again, amazing sauces, however not everyone in my family would enjoy chipotle but unfortunately the lids to the dipping cups were melted and warped, which caused them to be sloppy and spilled all over the fries. My family is always very picky about Italian food, especially in PA. We tried Sauce and were blown away! For sure the best that I think has ever been in this area, by far. The different sauces are authentic and delicious, not even comparable to restaurant food, it tastes like eating at home with the family. I had the creamy tomato basil tortellini soup with mozzarella in carozza and my girlfriend had the hammer "sangwich" which had prosciutto, fresh mozzarella, roasted peppers, olive oil and balsamic. Both were incredible, the soup was very creamy and well balanced, the mozzarella in carozza had the perfect combination of melty cheese and crispy fried bread. I also had the triple O burger (cheddar cheeseburger with caramelized onions and an onion ring on an onion bun) which was cooked to perfection. The food was great but the best part of this place was the family that owns and operates it. Margaret along with her husband Joe and son Andrew are the warmest and most inviting people I've ever met. Next time we're out there, we will definitely be popping over for a delicious bite. read more

Service was excellent! Food was beyond words!!! My 9 year old wanted to try the split pea and ham soup. She loved it so much we got an extra to take home because she wants it for breakfast!! The portions are huge and can easily be split between two people. You can tell that everything is homemade, the food is cooked perfectly and you don't even need salt or pepper.
