The scent is just wonderful and once you get settled in your chair the staff puts a nice blanket on you and even tucks in your feet. Sweet. The sounds of the ocean and comfortable soft lighting. Add some crystals to hold and just close your eyes and relax. Two of us fell asleep. I dreamt that I was at the beach. Made me realize how much I need to actually get back to the beach. After we did some shopping - the Tree of Life scent of soap, lotion, and scrub is fantastic. Bought one of the crystals I used during the session. Even bought a cute little bee ring. So, as we walked up the steps to the Three Rivers Tibetan Cultural Center, it made me feel relaxed to see the sign" All are welcome here", before I opened the door. We took our shoes off in the small vestibule. I had read that while the beginner meditation classes on Saturday mornings are free, it is suggested that a small donation be made, since this is how the monks rely on keeping the center running, and how they are able to feed and support themselves with basic everyday needs. I donated money in a jar in the hall entranceway. I was warmly greeted by Jonnie. She seated us . Throughout the entire service and meditation session, terms and the service itself, were well-paced and explained, so I didn't feel like an outsider. The concept on intentions, paired with meditation, were eye-opening. The concept behind what real compassion is, was heart-opening.I am excited to go back and try other meditation services at local Buddhist Temples, like the one near me in Monroeville. Three Rivers Tibetan Cultural Center is located in Swissvale and there is free residential street parking.

She asked me nothing about why I was looking to bring my kids to counseling, which, in restespect should have been the main question asked. I ignore the weird red flags of impersonality and continue forward as an unguided and new apparent fool in this industry. I am then sent a barrage of who knows how many emails for this that and whatever asking to fill out this that and whatever, sign up for this portal, do this thing over here. Literally more work than taking a kid to a medical doctor. The so-called therapist, Ashley Esch, reaches out by email telling me I simply must fill out the patient portal information (in an I'm so concerned for you, but screw you manner) or she'll be unable to see my kids and I'll be charged cancellation fees. Great way to start a relationship, threatening someone with monetary penalty because they didn't fill out whatever was in this ridiculous portal. Heaven forbid my kids just come to the appointment and you like, just talk to them, you know, like a human being. I'm sorry, I don't get the tons of positive reviews about this place at all. The entire experience was like a restaurant, just nothing but fake concern to walk away with your money. Then to add insult to injury they do charge me a $60 cancellation fee that's double what my deductible would have been. This place is a cold hearted cash grab, at least go find someone that accommodates you when they're robbing you.

There was a mobile sauna truck with an ice plunge and free coffee and breakfast foods. Healthy choices like yogurt with fruit, bagels, fruit and protein bars. Fast paced workouts get your heart rate up and muscles burning. All the instructors introduced themselves and what they offered in their classes. The only negative aspect of this very upscale studio is the foyer area is quite small and today it was super crowded. The yoga studio however is spacious and there was plenty of space for about 30 participants. If you live in Greensburg, this is where you want to go for a yoga class. There is something for everyone here and the staff is very welcoming as is Tony, the owner.
