After working from home for a couple of months my back has a lot of built up tension. So, I decided…read moreto book a massage near where I am currently living. I called and was given a couple options of their opening. I chose a Saturday morning appointment. (If you can book for during the week I highly suggest it) When driving in I came to the front of the building which was locked and a young woman came out to advise me to head to the back of the building. I then proceeded to drive to the back and was able to find parking quiet easily. From the parking lot to the front entrance was about 50 feet. I had trouble finding it since there are so many buildings. I was able to call and Jeannine guided me. You just have to walk toward the "PureRejuv Wellness" Sign this is their front entrance and it is a smaller building. Walking through their front door you smell essential oils and asked to remove your shoes and leave them by the front entrance. I was greeted by Jeannie with a warm welcome and walked to the front desk to check in. By the front entrance they provide hand sanitizer and a welcome sign. They have tea and water available and a gender neutral restroom. I only waited about two minutes until I was greeted by Lee my massage therapist for my appointment. She walked me to my room and asked me questions about where I would like to focus on and so forth. You can either go all nude or leave on your undergarments if you are more comfortable. Lee was very knowledgeable and calming. She provided a great service and helped my back as much as possible. After my massage I felt so much better than what I had felt when I first walked in. I look forward to coming back to try their other services.

Immensely knowledgeable staff. All gifted and so helpful! I would recommend them to anyone.read more

After I left her practice, I felt calm and like a literal ton had been lifted from my shoulders. Not to mention, the space is beautiful and her skin care products are nourishing. With our initial conversation she helped me to realize the actions and thoughts that linked together to create tension and blocked energy in my body. From there she then provided me with one of the most unforgettable massages I've ever experienced. She started off with aromatherapy as I layed on the this pre-warmed cozy massage table. The tranquil music that played in the background placed me at ease in an instance. She then provided me with the most relaxing massage I've had, that I even slightly dosed off. After my session was complete I woke up feeling extremely relaxed and clear, which made me realized how tense and stressed my body was. I highly recommend her and will definitely be back to have another session as soon as I possibly can.

On my 8th out of 10 days, I knew that I needed much more than an overpriced massage. Jamie graciously made time for me the following morning. By that time, day 9 of vacation with my husband's side of the family and our children, my body, mind, and spirit needed a lot of work! I kept saying that I wished I would have found her sooner, but she patiently reminded me that I came when I was ready. I'm always in a rush to fix myself, but healing from Jamie felt very synchronized. It wasn't forced, it wasn't too much, it wasn't lacking. I was suffering from sciatica pains, a rotator cuff injury, as well as stress pain in my back and neck. The bodywork was just amazing. Jamie's knowledge of anatomy and Ayurveda help make sense of why I have pain in those areas, and hopefully how I can avoid that pain in the future. My favorite part of my visit was the breath work and grounding. She is insanely intuitive and sugar-coats nothing! I will definitely look forward to working with her via Skype along my journey.

I have sensitive facial skin from years of sun and salt water exposure, sun poisoning, eczema, and psoriasis. After an initial consultation, Sahara took great care in custom-creating my face and body products (facial oil, body oil, psoriasis tonic, body scrub). When my first batch was gone, I made sure to turn to her again. I've used expensive brands in the past and now have a hard time justifying using products that are not 100% natural. I am someone who wholeheartedly believes that health is wealth and cannot recommend Sahara enough if you too are looking for someone who will be meticulous with your unique and ever-evolving needs.

We had a Lakeview room, and while it was spacious, the sofas and carpets had stains on it. There were no good amenities given how expensive the rooms are. We paid for the meals at the restaurant but they were so bad! I definitely had an upset stomach afterwards. The pools, activity room were not kept well. The water machines weren't all working either. Even after doing massages, it was hard to even get water. No one offered us anything. The Ayurveda massages were good but overall we didn't enjoy it. The lady (Anna) who ran the sound bath and meditation was so condescending and rude. There was no air turned on so she opened the outside door to get air in after we asked her, but her energy was so off. One of the front desk person, we asked for a tour and he said "just get lost" and explore on your own. So lazy! I wouldn't recommended this place at all. Given the owner owns a media company, why is this place not maintained well. Also, many of the steam or saunas weren't working. This is not a health resort , it felt like a glorified motel. I wouldn't go again.

See video of wellness concierge attacking me unprovoked and pics with notes. For reference, I stayed here from a Friday to Wednesday and have posted CONS & PROS. This place has enormous potential! I've NEVER written a post like this so, deep breathes... CONS: 100% FALSE ADVERTISEMENT on website. There is barely staff (maybe 3/4 ppl), never a manager on duty, no order, communication, or knowledge of the facility and activities at front desk or by anyone, no guests most days but when seen they were visibly unhappy, unprofessional concierge staff, zero hospitality, no yoga classes after 8am, no wellness coach/instructors/meetings, there was one maintenance man during my stay and he quit, I saw the juice bar open once during a 6 day stay, the "cafe" is either completely empty or closed, geese droppings everywhere on the grounds that just pile up, minimal security at entrance (my id or room # was never verified), most floors were pitch black and/or in disrepair, ice machine on my floor was broken so I had to use 5th floor machine in pitch black, several doors to rooms were unlocked and open to view water damage, ceilings torn down, broken glass, I had to switch rooms on day 2 (without staff aid) bc the air would not work in mine, the guest wifi is free but unsecured and very very shotty, cobwebs, dirt and geese droppings covered my balcony (I HAD to clean it to enjoy the balcony), all doors and windows are dirty, the phone in the room does not connect to any part of the hotel, only one elevator was working and at one point stopped working, it is extremely warm in the building, I was the only guest there for a few of the nights (but still heard a lot of noise at night around me), ** The ABHYANGAM massage** is explained to be gentle and relaxing; it is not- I left covered in bruises and yelped in 10/10 pain 95% most of the time (but hey, if that's your thing go for it!), they will "close" without notice, you are left to your own devices the entire time having no tours of the amenities or a staff member to greet you, booking the stay was extremely tedious and does NOT match availability online, the police officer that arrived after having to call 911 told me YO1 erases video footage all the time, the wellness concierge who attacked me was charged with harassment bc there was no blood or bruising and was *still* working there the rest of my stay, if you are in a suite there is no locking door between the personal massage room and your suite, no groundskeepers/snow removal, most signs in the building are missing letters or sitting on the floor, what theatre? What museum? (It was bare), unprofessionally dressed creepy and unhygienic staff member who I was told was a maintenance manager acted as a housekeeper at my door and made me very uncomfortable, carpets, pillows, couch stains everywhere, my suite had recessed dimmable ceiling lights and a switch but no bulbs, handles to open and close drapes were broken, food and flies behind furniture, blown speakers in the lobby, shower handle would fall off, surrounding area is a ghost town, I was told many times the owners just want money they don't care about the guests experience, an acupuncture needle was left in me and I had to pull it out myself, the owners take the massage therapists tips if you don't give it directly to your masseuse (cash only), the "living" plant wall was NOT alive nor clean, broken and dirty entry doors to building, flickering broken light in refrigerator, no housekeeping check ins, no help with luggage upon arrival or departure, I never got an apology or reparations from anyone about the concierge attack, and the pool area was over 90 degrees and no maintenance to fix it. I never got to do yoga, I never got to swim or use hot tub (both in the same area), I never had one activity to do, and I did not feel safe. PROS: Enormous potential, delicious food, attractive lobby, beautiful views, comfortable bed, incredible gym and activity room, easy parking, quiet, all of the massages I experienced were wonderful as well as the spa staff (much different from hotel staff), spa area is clean, was given extra time with some treatments because there were no other guests, saw lifeguard checking water levels/chemicals. Despite the pros, I left YO1 worse off mentally and physically than when I arrived.
