These are the times I searched for a chiropractor near by and was highly recommended to Bettiol Chiropractic in Oneonta. I have been going to Dr. Walt anytime I had a flare up of sciatica and when I walk out of his office I always feel like a new person. I have just made an appointment with Dr. Walt for my Meniere's Disease which I have lived with an imbalance problem coming from this disease. When I called for an appointment I asked if this is problem Walt can help me with and I was told by their secretary that the answer was yes. I made an appointment for tomorrow and I can't wait to be helped with this debilitating disease. He uses a method which is gentle. You will not be sorry. (I am used to the "gun and drop down table" which are non aggressive. I have issues with my neck. After adjusting my body I became concerned when he reached my neck as I have issue with my neck. I asked him to "go easy"... he continued and cracked my neck so bad that I s reamed in pain and nearly blacked out. He had to help me off the table. It is now 4 weeks post treatment. I went in with zero neck pain and have been in chronic pain since. Aside from being worse now than when I walked through his doors, know that the environment is filthy. The paper for my feet on one of the tables was dirty and the bathroom is disgusting! I was afraid to use the sink. This is supposed to be a sterile environment. I now go to Southside Chiropractors and am extremely happy with the care and environment.

It is a healing space, where you feel peace and comfort as soon as you enter. I had the shirodhara treatment, which includes just as much ceremony and pageant and it does treatment. Shirodhara is a form of Ayurveda therapy that involves gently pouring liquids over the forehead. The name comes from the Sanskrit words shiro (head) and dhara (flow). You start with a warm for bath, a pageant in itself. Then lay down and the warm oil drips on your forehead and runs down your hair, feeling like a tender massage, both cleansing and calming. Finish up with time in the sauna to release any lingering tensions and give thanks for the gifts you have received . I highly recommend this experience, and look forward to trying other ayurvedic sessions.
