The floor plan is far from optimal, with the upper floor only housing the front desk (where they sell protein shakes, fruit and GI food) and some seats to eat, and the lower floor where the actual gym is divided between a set of separate rooms. Doors are stone arches, the ceiling is low. Wheelchair access is non-existent. There are a few cardio machines but not many. There's a separate room with padded floor for stretching and yoga ball exercises. The equipment is as rough and worn as the stone walls in this basement facility - but here you accept it as part of the charm. It's an environment to gain inspiration from. This is an independent gym with a smaller client base, so this gym doesn't get crowded as much as the facilities if the common gym chains.

They have a big focus area for free weights with lots of barbells to get the squats going. But also a cardio section, all the necessary machines and some stretching areas.They also have lots of different classes for the one who needs some extra pushing. In the reception they have a "Squeezed up" bar where you can order freshly made proteinshakes and some light food. As many places, you should avoid peak hours around 5-7pm if you dont wanna fight for your right. This is a trendier gym where most ppl done training to a religion, but not yet gone to far. Which means you probably wont encounter a lot of "the great white" guys here. So if that sounds like a fit, ass to the grass, and get the pump going!

It has tons of options for all kinds of workouts including the usual gamut of group classes, TRX, several areas for free weights and other stuff more fun than giant workout machines. Lots of classrooms available when the group classes are not in session. And it has a pool with a jacuzzi! Also two different types of sauna's. And if you want to splurge you can go to the spa downstairs (member discount). They are also re-starting their crossfit program with in-house staff in February (never tried it with the old company using the space). On top of that, most of the staff is super friendly -- always saying hello and goodbye with a smile. Not something you find everywhere. One drawback is that the yoga classes seem pretty hard to sign up for but then I haven't tried (they are just full every time I check with a long waiting list). But I have heard the teachers are really good. It's probably an expensive gym ordinarily, which would change my opinion somewhat but you get what you pay for I guess. There are so many options here! If you live in the area, come take a tour!

What is really good about this gym though is studio class instructors. The yoga classes on Sundays are legendary. The instructor has been better than many instructors I met in yoga studios. Located on the bottom two floors they have made a great job dividing the gym smart. On the lower floor you will find a streching area and a big cardio section with huge tv screens to amuse you. There are plenty of machines in all different flavors. This floor also house some of the classes you can book. On the upper floor there are lots of different machines and a large free weight section. They provided plenty of space in between, so even if its crowded you wont feel cramped. A bonus is the roof top, where you can do running on their track. I havent looked into it, but it is supposedly to be a great view and a very unique experience. Its easy to go by foot or bike here, and for cars they have a garage in the cellar. But be aware that its a charge for the garage and its not that easy to find a free parking around. So far the crowd havent found their way here, so i suggest you go here and enjoy your workout!

The pictures on the walls reminds the visitors of the heritage from back in the days, when gym wasnt something for everyone. To embrace the history further more, they also have a gymnastic section with parallell bar and other specific gymnastic apparatus. The gym itself is very much like SATS new concept with same kind of colors and areas that you are used to. Even though its separated in between certain floor, most ppl will end up in the cellar, where the "real" stuff is located. Second floor which also is entry floor have quite a big cardio section to get you started. Upstairs is the machine area and also space for class traning. Overall this place is a very nice gym, but the changing room is very small in aspect to how many ppl this place will attract due to its prime location. Also, downstairs can get pretty cramped during peak, since most ppl will spend most of their time at the gym here. Likeable and fresh, but i think they could have planned it better to get the most out of it!

Its pretty convenient to get here from the garage underneith if you are going by car. Its right in the mall, so you have plenty of stores around which makes it easy to add a training session while out having a shopping spree on a Saturday. The gym is designed along with SATS new concept with soft-covered floor and lots of free weight area. With that, they have a lot of barbell-stands where you can make it happen, throwing of some heavy stuff like squats or deadlifts. Other than that they have quite a big cardio section with treadmills and cross-trainers. The areas are well planned so even though theres a lot of ppl, you can always do some stuff without feeling cramped. For those who like classes, they have a bunch of them, but i havent had the chance to try them. It looks like they have some new kind of cross-traning class which can be a nice addition to the regular SATS offering. This is overall a very nice gym, which might pursuade some ppl to go here if the motivation is lacking. Time will tell if it will get more or less crowded, but you should definitely give it a try!
