I ordered a beer and chatted briefly with other patrons about my dilemma. They were able to make some good suggestions and the evening ended well. While sipping on a draught beer, I couldn't help but notice the small town charm both in decor and staff. The bar was obviously vintage, built with real wood and a 50s/60s layout, complete with a large mirror flanked on either side with lights that were popular back then. Nothing fancy, this is a cozy watering hole across from the town square. It's worth a stop if you're in the area and looking for a cold one.

There was a live band (the reason we sought out this place) and they charge a $5/pp cover charge. Their menu is basic bar food - mozzarella sticks, burgers, poppers, fries, etc. (no wings). The burgers looked REALLY good and everyone was ordering them but we weren't hungry enough to get one. We arrived around 7:15PM and stayed until last call. We each had 4-5 beers in that time (since we had to drive out of there on back country roads) and we split an order of mozzarella sticks and our total bill was only $30! Amazing! Note: they do allow smoking, almost everyone in there was smoking, and the ventilation system didn't do much to help the air flow.
