The mechanics came out as soon as we pulled up, take a look, gave us a diag and an estimate within 10-15 minutes. Unfortunately, they wouldn't be able to obtain the parts for a couple days and we had to be in LA by morning. So no repair was done but they assured us it was safe to drive the vehicle back home to swap vehicles. They didn't charge anything for the diag and were very friendly and helpful!

Dropped off the trailer and he called 2 hours later with a quote. We were 2 hours from home, we paid a $100.00 deposit for parts and he said he would call the next day when it was ready. We told him we would pick it the next weekend. He never called when it should had been ready, had to call him 4 days later, still not done! The excuse was wrong brake parts. Told him to put it back together, since we had an appointment with our boat shop the following Monday. He said, " I'll have it done tonight", whatever. Paid a co-worker $100 to go pick it up since I had to work that weekend. They arrived at 12:00 and it still wasn't done. Finally, they paid him $300 and left. They got 25 minutes outside of town and the tire blew out because the didn't put the cotter pin in place! Destroyed my tire, new bearings, races and seals. my co-worker got it home, going 25mph on I-10. Now the spindle is destroyed and it needs a whole axle. When confronting the "owner", he agreed to send us back the $300.00, that was Oct 7th, it's now Nov 4th. Doesn't answer the phone, return calls or text messages. My suggestion is this. If you need anything, don't go to this place. Call a tow truck and get home. Have a real shop repair your trailer!

Our truck had total brake failure. We had it towed in to repair the brakes. Knowing that we had…read moreheavy duty brake pads and rotors put on 2300 miles previous, we asked that all old brake parts be saved for inspection for damage. While in the shop, work on suspension was also suggested. We did not have them work on the suspension. When "repairs" were done, they had conveniently not saved the "damaged pads and rotors". There had been no grinding or squealing to indicate that pads had worn into the rotors. Those "repairs" ran over $2000 and bought us about 5 months when the brakes went into failure again. This time, we took the truck to an independent shop. The shop found black brake fluid and an occluded line. The brake line was connected to the master cylinder at an angle and was one turn from coming undone. At best Parker may have topped off the brake fluid but clearly didn't change it or bleed the line. And while we were charged for a new master cylinder, it didn't appear to have been recently replaced. Without knowing that suspension work had been recommended, the independent shop had done a visual inspection and determined that everything in the suspension system "looked good". So basically, Parker Ford charged us for unneeded parts, charged for a part (master cylinder) that didn't appear to be replaced, failed to properly and adequately repair the brake system, and recommended unnecessary repairs. As far as we're concerned, Parker Ford can't be trusted.
