(well, sometimes, i don't have enough "boob" to fill in the tops! what can i say! so much to the chagrin of my hubby, we went in! like a kid in a candy store, i went up & down every aisle, touching here & there. poor tom was my clothes rack as i started gathering things to try on. the sales girl must have seen him struggling, so she started a room for me. they'll do that for you. so nice! leaves your arms open to look better! we went back to the room for me to try on clothes. he was impressed that he was allowed in, & that they put my name on the door. in the end, i made out! This particular Aerie is in South Hills Village mall. I sometimes shop in this store, which is a bit smaller than most other Aerie stores. I particularly like its bras, which are available in my size and preferred style, fit comfortably, and last many years. During my most recent visit to this store, it was fully stocked with merchandise, and it was holding sales of 25% off sweatshirts and sweaters and 40% off leggings and sports bras, which made the prices more reasonable. With the bras, you save money if you purchase two or more. I do think that employees could greet customers more.

I shop here mostly to browse the women's workout clothes. The store is a large size across multiple floors with escalators and is packed full with merchandise. I am not interested in purchasing certain brands such as Calia and Abercrombie and Fitch, so I would prefer that other brands be offered. I do like the t-shirts for Penn State and the Pittsburgh Penguins. I thought that the quality was high but that the prices were also high.

Because I am the kind of adult who needs "Harry Potter" and "Star Wars" and "Doctor Who" and Marvel and Disney in my life - and I apologize to no one for it. ;) Hot Topic honestly has so much stuff I don't know where to start with this review. Jewelry, shirts, toys, accessories, dresses, hoodies, mugs, pillows, keychains, buttons...and more...all featuring a variety of pop culture logos and art and characters. The store is divided up by fandom moreso than the type of merchandise being sold - so, "Harry Potter" is kept together, "Star Wars" is kept together, etc. etc. It makes browsing easier because if you're not interested in a TV show or movie, you can skip that section and move along. In addition to their normal shopping options, depending on the hot movie of the season they'll have an entire corner dedicated to merchandise from that release. It's standard to find merchandise related to everything I listed up above; come Halloween you can expect to find "Nightmare Before Christmas" gear. "Supernatural" and Miyazaki items are known to populate the store, too. And I think they still sell band t-shirts here, not that I would know since I gravitate right to the Pop! figures at the back of the store...I have priorities. The only problem I've ever had at this store was I once ordered a few things online with the intention of keeping the one that fit best and returning the others. I do this with other stores all the time because there's no guarantee that something you want online will be in the store when you go there. When I came to return the items here, though, the staff really tried to push me into exchanging the items for something else. I shouldn't have to tell someone I want to return an item five times. So I wasn't impressed with the attitude I got that day. I highly recommend shopping here - if not for yourself, for someone who loves any of the things I mentioned in my review.
