Although I only came in for a haircut on this occasion, I needed a color and wanted to speak with him about the allergic reaction I had to a product(s) that left my scalp red and itchy. Before I booked that appointment, I wanted to speak with him about the products they use. Alex educated me on Goldwell, which happens to be a product line I researched that is PPD-free, a common chemical in hair color that causes the issues I've experienced, and has very little other chemicals. Being comfortable with that, I decided to book a color appointment for the following week. After showing Alex pics of what I was looking for and getting his input, he then washed my hair and gave me an incredible head massage that almost put me to sleep. During the wash, cut and style, Alex was very sweet in ensuring that nothing he was doing or putting on my hair was causing me any discomfort, which I greatly appreciated.
