They showed up then took 30 minutes and determined that they had made a mistake on their solution and had to revise the plan and go back to engineering. Winter was closing in, so nothing could be done for the rest of the year. Fast forward to Feburary of 2025. I start calling to get an update and am getting no reply. That's calling both the job foreman and the company owner. Finally made contact and was told they were having problems getting an approved solution, but were still trying. In early March they sent me a check for my entire deposit. Still no communication. Apparently they just gave up. My real issue is their utter inability to communicate and inform me of progress or even the lack thereof. I'm not typically one for publicly bad mouthing a contractor, but in this case it I feel its valid.

Zim, Tony, Austin, Will, Mumda and Bunda worked their tails off removing a bunch of dirt to level the area and then compacted it for the pour. I highly recommend Mr. Mudd for all of your concrete needs... Mr. Mudd returned today for pouring the cement pad. Today's crew was Amir, James and Jimmy. These guys got right to work prepping the site with plastic to protect the house and fence and then proceeded with the pour. One of the guys stayed behind for almost 4 hours doing the finishing work and it looks great! It will now be so much easier to get the cans and yard equipment in and out of the yard...

So they sent Clara out to give an estimate on the amount of rocks and possibly a design idea last fall. She did show but we never did hear back from her. I called and talked to her once on a Wednesday about a month after she had been here and she told me she would email the bid by Friday. After leaving 2 more messages we decided we wouldn't use them even if the numbers were right. I completely understood when she said she was behind but to never hear back at all is terrible business. I wouldn't recommend wasting your time with them.
