I was fortunate to work with Sasha in the latter half of 2024 while struggling with some pretty heavy personal issues. Sasha helped me tremendously in getting "unstuck" - she has a methodical, caring approach, a seemingly endless set of tools in her toolkit, and an effective accountability structure. It is largely due to our work together that I was able to get through the outcome of the 2024 presidential election with not only my sanity intact, but a newfound fire and engagement that is sustaining me today. I recommend her unreservedly to anyone looking to take the next step in achieving control of their life and playing big for the future. read more

Sasha was amazing to work with. We hit all of my pain points and I came out of the process a totally transformed person! I was actually surprised when we reviewed my desires from the beginning of the process that we'd covered all of them and more. Sasha is very astute and gave great feedback and taught me useful tools to use going forward. Every session was an enriching experience--I don't think we had a single bad session! I hired Sasha as a coach several years ago to help me deal with a breakup and found her guidance essential and transformative! Sasha is a thoughtful, unique and caring person and coach who shares how she is walking the same types of healing journeys as her clients--she keeps the client actively involved and curious about themselves, she's not handing down a program or judgments and forcing you into it. I'm also part of Sasha's new Turned-On Living program of group learning, co-creation, support and community and combined with the one-on-one coaching, it has been a synergistic combo that has supercharged my life in just the ways I need! Sasha's combination of somatic and other teachings around embodiment in a group context are profoundly life changing. I feel like I have tools, habits, movements, emotional support and a cheering section as I build a happier life for myself. read more

The Soulful Work Reboot Workshop that I took with Sasha and Jade in December 2022 was very enlightening and motivating. The coaching allowed me to take a step back and objectively assess my fears, which translated to more clarity and freedom about what I really want for my work life. I now have tools such as "the wiggle" to release my fears and am more conscious about making time for myself. read more

I had read Sasha's book, Quirkyalone, and watched some of her interviews and videos on pussywalking. She struck me as a playful, soulful, creative woman who genuinely loved empowering other women. So I felt confident that she had enough life experience walking her own unique path to be a good person to help me sort through some of my own creative and relational questions. Our sessions were very helpful to me as she was a great listener, she was very present and grounded and she stopped me from going down habitual rabbit holes with her excellent, thoughtful questions. I would recommend her to anyone who wants to get more clarity in their lives about what they are doing. read more

The top thing you should know is that Sasha is an amazing life coach who cares deeply about her clients and getting them the results they are aiming for. She does the job! So, there's that. And then there's so much more. I love how she practices what she preaches, really diving into learning about her own life and using those experiences to help people change their lives to be more in alignment with who they *really* are. She is adventurous, wise, and willing to be vulnerable in her work and practice which for me, is HUGE for anyone who is doing this kind of work. I don't really trust people with my personal life information that aren't vulnerable themselves. Her writing is inspiring and real. Her sense of humor and playfulness compliments her depth beautifully. And her curiosity! It's one of a kind. She asks the important questions and actually cares about the answers. I've always been impressed by where we can go in just an hour. Sasha is someone you want in your life. She has an inspiring and authentic impact. I highly recommend you contact her if you're looking for an amazing life coach! read more

I needed a new job/change in career, and so I began working with Sasha. I had never worked with a career counselor before, so I was a little leery at first and wasn't sure how she could help. During our first phone conversation, Sasha asked me to define what I wanted to achieve during our time together. We came up with a list, 3 months later every goal on that list was achieved and I landed a new job in industry I was trying to break into. Sasha not only helped me achieve my goal, but gave me a great set of tools that will continue to help me along my career path. If you are looking for a change, but don't know where to start or what to do, Sasha would be a valuable resource. read more

I found Sasha at a time when I was going through a breakup and needed guidance on being happy alone. I was feeling defeated and anxious. Sasha helped me lay out goals and taught me tools to use in order to move ahead. Her gentle yet effective way of pushing you to better yourself is exactly what I needed. I can honestly say she helped guide me on a path to learn to love being happy alone and not rely on others for reassurance. I would absolutely recommend her to anyone struggling with relationships, career change or other issues that make it difficult to move forward. read more

As a quirkyalone and someone in need of a little life coaching, I figured Sasha might be the perfect life coach, and she was! She "got" me from the start and as our time went on I was impressed with how well she knew me. I didn't feel like just another client. Sasha is a great listener and gives down-to-earth, applicable, and insightful feedback. She guides each session naturally and has great instincts in how she reacts and poses follow-up questions. Our sessions were relaxed and fun too. We made significant progress on my upfront goals and I now have a new set of thought patterns and approaches to move forward and make continued positive changes in my life. I highly recommend her! read more

I've been a fan of Sasha's ever since reading "The Quirkyalone: Celebrating Single Life" in the Utne Reader back in 2000. A couple of months ago I discovered that she is now a life coach, and signed up for a "Talk It Out" session while in the SF Bay area a couple of weeks ago. I'm thinking about making a career change to explore life coaching myself, and hoped that Sasha would give me some pointers. I was not disappointed by our in-person meeting in a coffee shop, as she not only thoroughly answered all of my prepared questions, she also posed new questions for me to consider, and gave me many signposts to guide me in additional reflection. If I do decide to go down this path I'll definitely sign up for more sessions with Sasha. I most highly recommend Sasha's services to others...and this includes my fellow male quirkyalones! read more

I have to admit, I was very skeptical about using a life coach. One of the biggest issues I struggle with is social anxiety, and I had gotten to the point where I had some serious doubts about being the least bit successful. I always envisioned a life coach as being someone who would be a little too overwhelming or pushy for me. Sasha definitely was none of those things. She was very understanding, and helped me find my own path forward, which I imagine is different for every person. She often spoke of "hacking" a way through to what I wanted. But, I had no idea how do that and Sasha was incredibly helpful in figuring things out and helping me to be persistent and accountable, without being forceful or pushy. Her style, it seems, is to figure out the style that works for her clients, which is very effective. While I still have things I'm working on, I'm very grateful to Sasha for not only helping me achieve some of my goals, but actually instilling a positive and hopeful attitude that makes me feel confident that I can continue with my work and achieve even more positive results. read more

I recently attended Sasha's body-confidence retreat in Florianopolis Brazil, so this review is of that: This was a totally incredible experience and showed how talented Sasha is both in her coaching efforts and in devising valuable - and fun! - travel experiences for women. I've never gone on a retreat before and have never been one much for "group activities" so I was a bit worried that this had the possibility to be trite and make me feel a little cheesy or embarrassed --- It was anything but. We stayed at a beautiful tropical property overlooking a beach in Southern Brazil. Sasha and her friend Natalia planned every detail to make this a truly meaningful experience, but they also left plenty of time to relax and enjoy the beautiful surroundings. The workshops included extremely helpful writing and other active exercises and personal sharing in a safe setting created by Sasha and Natalia. Both women set examples by sharing their own personal stories and showing vulnerabilities, while also modeling a healthy sense of self-confidence. Natalia, a gifted photographer from the area and a perfect complement to Sasha, took us to incredible local spots like beaches, a waterfall and a samba club. She and Sasha artfully tied these experiences back into discussion points in the workshop as a sort of practice. The whole thing was very well-planned and thought-out so that by the end it was not only very fun but added up to a truly meaningful experience to take back to real life. I felt that I could actually detect notable changes in the women we were with after only a few days of this work. I have not had Sasha as a coach in other work, but if this workshop is any indication, I imagine she would be a wonderful person to have for this role.I also very, very highly recommend any future retreats/workshops with Sasha!! read more

Sasha and I worked together earlier this year, and I'm very grateful I took the opportunity to do so. We talked a lot about relationships/dating; I had specifically sought Sasha out after reading about her Quirkyalone movement. Sasha helped me put a number of thorny issues in perspective, gave me helpful and creative ways of processing experiences and thoughts, and generally proved to be a very supportive ally in helping me move forward. I'd highly recommend working with Sasha! read more

I met Sasha at a Quirky Alone meetup on Feb 14, 2018 in Providence. She explained about the Tango trips she had been facilitating in Buenos Aires. All the trips to date had been with women only but she expressed a desire to have a co-ed trip. Not being faint of heart, understanding and embracing the concepts of QuirkyAlone and always looking to explore new adventures outside of my comfort zone, I said that I would go. The trip was planned for the end of May. As it approached, I learned that I would be the only participant in this first co-ed trip. I was not disappointed that I choose to go regardless as I had a tremendous experience. The schedule that Sasha arranged had me taking private and group tango lessons, learning about and dancing at Milongas and thoroughly exploring this wonderful city. I met and interacted with many people and have formed lasting friendships. I would encourage any man or woman to have this experience. Sasha's trips are not to be missed!! read more

I read Sasha's book then participated in her Get Quirky online class when I realized I wasn't living my full life (yes, a cliche; but definitely how I felt!) The discussions and activities assigned were just what I needed to practice being myself with all my quirks. With Sasha's easy-going, enthusiastic and supportive nature, I gained so much awareness of myself. That's when I started questioning my current career and dating habits. I wasn't enough for me anymore and I took a personal leave to travel for months. I was lucky enough to meet up with Sasha and group at the first Argentina Tango adventure. Sasha created this amazing experience to try out so many things in one week - it's truly changed my life! She guided us through deeply emotional discussions and provided such beautiful insights when she saw me struggling during the new events. Returning home, my confidence in myself was sky-high: I changed careers, restarted dating in an open/honest way and I joined a local tango community. I owe much of my new outlook on life and ways of interacting with others to Sasha.. I have peace, satisfaction and a true view of my worth. If you are stuck or just can't get rid of a nagging feeling that your life is moving by without you, Sasha can help like no others. read more
