BROW HEAVEN - I…read morehighly recommend this place to anyone picky about their brows. I started coming here just a few months ago and I wish I would have discovered them sooner. I have always done threading instead of waxing because it is much cheaper and my skin seems to react better to it, so I had put off coming here for a long time. However, after a few questionable threading sessions at the mall, I decided to start taking better care of my brows and give this place a try. I'm so happy I did because the results have been incredible. To start your journey to perfect brows - The first thing you need is a brow mapping. The aesthetician here will measure out your face and draw on lines to make sure the spacing and angles are perfect and symmetrical. This is a bit more expensive than the normal eyebrow waxing, but you definitely need it. After this initial appointment, the brow maintenance waxes are a bit cheaper. They are really great about not over waxing and they will leave places alone that need to fill in a bit before your next appointment. I recommend scheduling maintenance brow waxes about every five weeks to keep your brows on track for success. They have online scheduling through their website and it's very easy to use. You will need to pay a deposit of half the price when you make the appointment online. So for normal brow maintenance waxes, you pay $12.50 at the time you schedule the appointment and another $12.50 once the appointment is complete. Make sure you are able to make your appointments because they are very strict about refunds. This stresses me out, but I understand why it's a necessary policy. I have heard good things about most of their aestheticians. I have always used Jenn for my brows just because she had availability back when I initially made my first appointment. She's wonderful, but I think you can't go wrong with anyone here. They are also taking really great COVID precautions. They have opened up to masked appointments only, with clients waiting in their cars and texting when they arrive. Only one client is in the salon at once. They are being super safe and sanitary so you don't need to worry about putting off making an appointment any longer! Please please please for your own sake just start coming here for your brow needs.

I was able to get my brows threaded in under 2 minutes. Not kidding, lightning fast. Was it the best eyebrows threading I've had? No. The brows are not perfectly even but the service was only $10 so I left the shop satisfied.

The sitting area is total cuteness! The front desk glad were not overly kind, just kind of "check the box". I was serviced by Baille. She was wonderful. Caring. Kind. Studied my previous fill and did a thorough job. Her room is beautiful and she makes you feel comfy. She is quite skilled. The prices are on the high side... again, been getting lashes done for years and have typically paid $55 (every 14 days) for a fill, and of recent, $65... this place charged $100 for a volume fill. Yikes! I'll see how they last for the traditional two week run. Again, the technician was great, but anything over $75 for a fill (and then a tip), is a bit much.

She was friendly, fast, and the location was clean. The…read moreexperience has become much less personal, and the new business model feels more rigid and transactional rather than the relaxing, welcoming environment it once was. Some of the small, thoughtful touches that made the spa special--like being offered hot tea--are gone. Using the locker rooms to store your belongings and freshen up before you leave is no longer an option either. Instead, you're given a basket and required to awkwardly carry all of your personal belongings with you throughout the visit. One of the biggest disappointments was how they handled our group's experience. While some of us were receiving massages and facials, they had booked a private steam and sauna appointment at the same time. Because of this, one member of our party was demanded to leave the spa in her robe and told she could either wait in the public waiting area or leave the building entirely. They claimed they had nowhere for her to relax while waiting for her next service. I find this completely inappropriate for a spa setting. A guest should never be put in a position where they have to leave in a robe and slippers or redress entirely because of poor scheduling. We had scheduled extra time at the end of our day for steam and sauna, specifically so we could access the locker rooms, yet the way the scheduling was handled made it feel like we were being rushed in and out with no opportunity to truly relax. Had we known, we would have happily scheduled additional time in between services to ensure our entire party could enjoy the spa together without being pushed out. Udånder did acknowledge this was an oversight on their part, but it was a disappointing experience nonetheless. On a positive note, the aesthetician, was outstanding--a true expert in her craft, and I highly recommend her (I wish I could remember her name) . However, if you visit, just know that the value of the overall experience isn't what it used to be. Expect to feel rushed, with no real place to transition in between services. Sadly, the thoughtful, relaxing atmosphere that once made Udånder so special just isn't there for me anymore.
