This is the worst Walgreens I've ever dealt with. Their pharmacy is incompetent. I take one…read moremedication every 30 days. Every time I try to refill it they say the insurance company requires a pre-authorization from my doctor. Every month I contact my insurance company and they tell they have approved the refill. I have to call Walgreens back and tell them the insurance company has approved the refill. They put me on hold and come back and say they'll approve the refill. There is obviously some disconnect between them and my insurance company, but it's my responsibility to straighten it out. Walgreens refused to help or make a call the insurance company. This goes on every month! I have called customer service to report the problem and they apologize and tell me a manager from the store will contact me to help straighten out the problem. Today when I finally got everything approved, they told me my prescription would be ready in an hour. I went to pick it up and was told it was not ready and I would have to come back in 30 minutes. I drove 10 minutes home and receive an email saying my prescription was ready. I don't understand why they couldn't have gotten it ready while I waited. I went back to pick it up and asked to talk to the pharmacy manager. I explained my problem and was told there was nothing she could about it. I told her she was incompetent. She had been rude and defensive from the get go. She then called the store manager who listened to her story, never hearing my side. The manager asked me to leave and that they would no longer fill my prescriptions. I have never been treated so rudely by a company before. I immediately went to another pharmacy and had all of my prescriptions transferred to the new pharmacy. Never will I ever step foot in a Walgreens again.
