Mussels

Me and my husband decided to try this spot. We had a Groupon for $100 worth of food. We started our dinner with the rice balls, caprese and mussels appetizers. All of the appetizers were good except for the rice balls. They were too salty! The caprese salad was delicious but would have preferred thinner sliced tomato. The mussels were absolutely delicious. The best thin on the menu. For our entree my husband opted for the chicken parmaigiano and I got the lasagna. The entrees were not good!!! The chicken tasted like it was processed and the lasagna was not very tasty. Our waiter was excelled though and really enjoyed her service.

Sarino is a place for celebration dinners or a Just because you want a great meal prepared by a chef that is always consistent. WE live near by and are so happy they have stayed open and have nice dinners and wonderful homemade pasta and spectacular Italian food. My husband loves their pork chops that taste like no others, hard to describe the sauce and flavor. I got the Bolognese this nite and it as always was like an old grandmas recipe. We like to sit in the bar area as the staff is always so friendly and helpful. The place has a feeling of family. Try it out if you are looking for authentic home made Italian dishes and home made pasta this is your place. Oh yes and the bread is home made too and so so tasty served with olive oil and balsamic drizzle.

We came here for my wife's birthday. It's a little dark when you first enter, but the ambience is perfect. There is a nice looking stocked bar towards the back, and tables all around, including outdoor seating for nicer days. We were seated promptly and given a drink menu. They have numerous wines, bourbons, and other alcoholic beverages. For non it's coke, Diet Coke, ginger ale, maybe a couple others. I ordered the calamari as a side. For entrees we ordered carbonara, my wife ordered the bolognese, and our nephew ordered the pork chop. The carbonara is pretty good, very cheesy and rich though. The bolognese was terrific, nice meat sauce over some noodles with Parmesan. And the pork chop I'm told was pretty good as well. Prices are on the higher side, but for a pretty authentic Italian restaurant we wasn't surprised. Our server was great, gave recommendations for drinks and foods and was very knowledgeable about any questions we had asked. There is a private parking lot for this restaurant, and if all of the spots are taken, they do offer street parking around the restaurant.

We had a great experience for our dinner. Their food was delicious and was served beautifully plated. Hubby ordered the prixe for restaurant week. Caesar salad was his starter he said it was fine. He then had the Grilled Chops and they were the star. Well seasoned, juicy and the apple butter had the perfect balance of sweetness. The pancetta with onions on the green beans were also a great accompaniment and perfectly cooked. He finished with a cannoli and loved it! Wonderfully crunchy with not overly sweet filling, even the fruit accompaniment was perfectly ripe. I had the arancini, an aromatic seasoning with the saffron and crispy outer made for a delicious bite. The marinara added acidity to keep it interesting. The bolognese has great chunks of meat and al dente tagliatelle. The portions were filling and the service was speedy. I enjoy an atmosphere that allows table conversations and we conversed easily even as the seating filled around us. Dim lighting still allowed us to see the menu and the waitress assisted in wine pairing that was spot on. We will return, but so glad they participated in Restaurant Week. It gave us the perfect opportunity to try this new to us place.

Came here for brunch on a saturday, not very busy which is why I was surprised that our server didn't check on us that much. I ordered the chicken parm sandwich which was delicious, it came with crispy potatoes which were in fact crispy and cooked to perfection. I loved the vibes of the restaurant inside and outside, definitely beautiful. My only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is because the service wasn't great, it was just ok.

Finally tried brunch at Sarino's after numerous dinner visits and couldn't believed I hadn't reviewed it. The house made focaccia and oil side is my favorite appetizer, the salmon is and you can't go wrong with any of the house made pastas with generous portions. For brunch with tried the Benedict, breakfast pizza and a cannoli for desert. The pizza was delicious and well sized. The eggs Benedict was smaller but very good and a bit spicy. And the cannoli- as good as it looks.

First time visit this place. The place wasn't too bad, it is just little loud. I didn't know that they have parking lot. There wasn't much choices for cocktails like bourbon. I might have overlook. I was there for pizza week. Their pizza, margarita pizza is so good. It is nice and simple and it is good with glass of wine.

This restaurant is absolutely phenomenal and very authentic Italian cuisine. Great ambiance, excellent customer service, and economical priced. Highly recommend for brunch or dinner!

I've been quite a few times at this point and it has been pretty good. The drinks aren't my favorite and usually will just settle for a glass of wine. What is my favorite is their pork chop. I ordered the risotto once and didn't care much for it. Not enough risotto. Way to "juicy" for me. The shrimp scampi is pretty good but the star of the show is definitely the pork chops and will likely be my go to when I visit.

Walking in we were sat quickly. The calamari started off the meal so well. My wife ordered the lasagna. The portion was insanely large, just a bit too heavy on the sage for her taste. The pork chop with the apple butter changed my life. The shrimp scampi has a great lemon flavor.casual dining, but nice setting.

I visited Sarino a couple of weeks ago for the first time in a while, and there were some highlights and some not-so-great moments. First, for the good, I ended up getting the pea pesto as my entree. This is a new take on pesto I've never had before, and would definitely get this again. If you're a pea fan especially, this dish is for you. OK, now the not-so-good: I got the pea pesto because I had to send back my prosciutto arugula pizza. I've NEVER sent a dish back. But this was inedible. The biggest problem was that the dough in the center was not cooked. It was mushy. And the prosciutto was so thick that even if the crust was cooked all the way through, you couldn't bite through the prosciutto easily. When I sent it back, the server remarked that this style of pizza meant that the crust was softer. I get that, but again, this wasn't a question of softness but the fact that it wasn't cooked. She did replace my order with the pesto, though, so I'm happy for that. The ambiance here is great, and it was easy to get a reservation. Our server was also attentive. I would come back, but I wouldn't get the pizza.

Nice place for a night out! Overall a little overpriced for what you get, but I've always gotten good service and the space is cozy - great for a celebration!

I returned to Sarino with a large party of co-workers. Our reservation was at 5:30p and the restaurant was empty but filled up during our time there. Service was great, especially considering we had a group of 12 people. Like the first visit the food was only an average experience that does not match the price of entrees. I can't imagine returning for Sarino for anything more than a cocktail. Dishes tried: * Bruschetta: disappointing! The topping of marinated tomatoes and onions was abundant but the bread came across as stale. * Calamari: not a personal preference for me, but boy did it smell. More than one person at the table commented on the fishy smell. * Farro and arugula salad: Delicious! Loved the champagne vinaigrette and toppings. I requested no walnuts. * Ham and risotto pizza: the concept was great and the toppings came together well. However, the crust was so dry and not worth eating. *Wine specials: half-price bottles on Wednesday. Enjoyed splitting a bottle with two friends. Private parking lot and street parking available.

Initially we were going to share a pizza but since they offered a 10 inch we both went our own way. Bestie ordered the Hawaiian & I chose the meatball. While noth pizzas were yummy, the meatball was clearly the better of both. The crust was seasoned perfectly and crunchy but not hard. The meatballs had a perfect flavor, moist and covered with cheese. I mean, how can you go wrong with cheesy meatballs? I also ordered a Tito's Island Punch and let me say, it packed a delightful, delectable & delicious punch! I'm a lightweight but it was so good that I almost ordered another one! They may be a chain but I was pleasantly surprised with the quality of our food, our server Chelle (not sure if this is her correct spelling but she was perfectly lovely) and the price point. I would definitely dine here again.

The peppercorn ranch was good. I got the Hot honey pizza & my husband got the Big Four Meat pizza. We thought it was a good pizza. We both got the regular crust. They were flavorful & they didn't skimp on toppings. The breadsticks were fresh & had a good garlic flavor. I preferred the beer cheese/red sauce to dip. He thought the garlic butter was one of the better butter sauces he had in a while. So it all depends on personal preference. Overall I'm glad we tried them out.
