They truly are steak experts...my filet was seasoned and cooked perfectly and it was one of the best cuts I've ever had. As for the rest, the sweet corn side (blanking on the actual name) was quite good as well. I thought the mashed potatoes with truffle were too garlicky but my wife loved them. The beer selection is rather limited but the wine selection is quite good. My wife had a Malbec that she said was terrific. For an appetizer, we had the fried Italian cheese, which was tasty but not what we were expecting...it was cheese with spices melted in a small skillet with crostini. It reminded us of the flavor of pizza without the sauce. We didn't have dessert and opted for an espresso macchiato instead, which was also good. All in all, very good food and drink all around, but the steak is definitely the star of th

I tried tapas, fish and meat dishes and above all the quality of the ingredients was outstanding. The atmosphere is relaxed and cosy, which is due to the decoration made of Portuguese and Argentinian memorabilia and the (small) size of the restaurant. The service in this restaurant is absolutely TOP! The owners Antonio and Manuel are outstanding hosts, always interacting with customers in a warm way and guiding them to make the right food and drink choices. Hands-down the best restaurant in Düsseldorf.

Not a friendly or welcoming atmosphere, would not recommend.

Everyone of us of course had steaks, with some potatoes and a bit of vegetables. The red wine was flowing, some of the best Argentinian wine of course. The inside is reminiscent of an old-school steakhouse. It's dimly lit and lots of wood and dark furnishings. There's shelves and walls of bottles and more bottles. Besides a great company and the good food, there was also bands serenading us through our dinner. Can't beat the abundance of entertainment at every corner of this dining room. The place felt so alive and vibrant. This is touted as one of the best steak houses in Cologne. There's a lot more competition today, but this one is still running strong.

It's quite popular and I am glad one of my colleagues booked as it was fully packed by the time we all arrived for dinner. It's located in the basement of the building and can be hard to spot. The sign is not very obvious and it does not look like a restaurant from the outside. It's reasonably big inside and probably seats 50-60 people. The decor is quite simple but nice. The menu here is all about meat and they have a few veg options (mainly salad) and a couple of fish dishes. I did not see much pork or chicken in the menu at all. I ordered a 400g pepper steak medium rare and a chorizo starter. I also ordered a bottle of red for the table. The steak was cooked to perfection and was quite peppery. The red chimichurri sauce that I ordered with the steak was divine and had a good kick to it. I really enjoyed the steak and the wine. For dessert I had the Flan with Dulce de Lece and it was excellent also. Steak in Germany is not cheap and this place is no exception. The quality however is high and I would happily come here again any time for a good steak.
