The place has a homely kitchen feel to it - but a bit shabby. The man who served us could have been more friendlier to us. That would have complimented the warm feeling of the place. That's the main reason I give 3 stars. The food was decent. The sambar is typically srilankan Tamil style. The coconut chutney was fresh but a bit dry - a little bit more water or use of fresh coconut is recommended as I suspect dried coconut were used.

Waiter and bartender care more about being on their phone than doing their actual job. Our experience was like a combination of previous reviews. Waited 25 minutes for a drink, measurements did not match what was stated on the menu and they charged double instead of correcting the problem. Not a friendly or welcoming atmosphere, would not recommend.

Everyone of us of course had steaks, with some potatoes and a bit of vegetables. The red wine was flowing, some of the best Argentinian wine of course. The inside is reminiscent of an old-school steakhouse. It's dimly lit and lots of wood and dark furnishings. There's shelves and walls of bottles and more bottles. Besides a great company and the good food, there was also bands serenading us through our dinner. Can't beat the abundance of entertainment at every corner of this dining room. The place felt so alive and vibrant. This is touted as one of the best steak houses in Cologne. There's a lot more competition today, but this one is still running strong.

I discovered this place whilst looking for dining options in Bonn and five of us decided to go here…read morefor dinner. It's quite popular and I am glad one of my colleagues booked as it was fully packed by the time we all arrived for dinner. It's located in the basement of the building and can be hard to spot. The sign is not very obvious and it does not look like a restaurant from the outside. It's reasonably big inside and probably seats 50-60 people. The decor is quite simple but nice. The menu here is all about meat and they have a few veg options (mainly salad) and a couple of fish dishes. I did not see much pork or chicken in the menu at all. I ordered a 400g pepper steak medium rare and a chorizo starter. I also ordered a bottle of red for the table. The steak was cooked to perfection and was quite peppery. The red chimichurri sauce that I ordered with the steak was divine and had a good kick to it. I really enjoyed the steak and the wine. For dessert I had the Flan with Dulce de Lece and it was excellent also. Steak in Germany is not cheap and this place is no exception. The quality however is high and I would happily come here again any time for a good steak.
