Since my friends name was Dawn, it seemed the only logical place to go for a good cut. They got me in right away and the stylist did a great job for a reasonable price. The new location is much bigger than the previous rented space. Like the last time I was here, I liked the Little Mermaid shirt of Ariel. I like how in the shade she is black and white, but in the sunlight she is all colorful. What would be even better is a shirt of Ursula. She is one of my top favorite Disney characters. She maybe the Disney character with the most painful death...this is up for debate. Now, if this store had unisex shirts for women and men, I would have been inclined to buy one or two of these shirts. Especially a Ursula color changing shirt. Sadly, I only walked away buying a 16 inch box chain for my wife. Still, I like this store.

There were a total of 8 women who had professional beauty services done, and despite the humidity and on and off weather in the OBX, everyone still looked incredible at the end of the night! One of my bridesmaids has such thin hair that never holds and up-do, and she didn't even take hers out until the morning! Shea also stayed past pictures and our first dance and into our reception to do touch ups, to remove my veil, put in a hair clip, and re-curl some of my hair. During this time, she was unbelievably helpful during photos - fixing my veil, making sure I wasn't shiny, and helping me get sprinkles out of my hair! (From recessional toss!) Thanks ladies!

Do not go here. I rarely give horrible reviews but we drove here from the other side of the OBX..30…read moreminutes for an appointment...did I mention it is football Saturday but I wanted to spend time with the better half. My wife works in Manteo and made an appointment, they had her number if "THEY" were "confused" as was told to us but nobody called with any questions. So, we arrive and the person, the "stylist" (that is questionable) is not there, one lady is cutting hair and basically tries to find out what is going on..she finally get in touch with the person that is supposed to do my wife's hair. She shows up late and says " I do not work past 2:00 pm would you like to reschedule" . As a husband that will have to deal with my spouse, a former owner of multiple retail businesses and restaurants, and a resident I feel it is my responsibility to say do not go here. If a business can not honor their appointments, show up on time, and not even try to accommodate you will lose all your customers! Oh and you came as a recommendation but they had not been there in a while. I will make sure to let them know..to not come back!
