Her consultative style shows the utmost respect for the patient's own experience and understanding of their health. I was deeply impressed watching her do everything she could to help my wife. You could only imagine how being refused by my own doctors office based on my signs and symptoms, made me feel. In the beginning, I did not have health insurance and was a single mom raising two girls. Doc used to meet me outside of regular business hours when my girls got normal childhood infections so that I would not received an large emergency room bill. He has saved my life twice that I know about and has always taken the time to hear my complaints. Before I went in, I called the office to confirm that my insurance was accepted there. Knowing that I only had to pay the $40 co-pay, I went to the office to see Mr. Lindsey. The appointment was terrible. He looked at my foot, and he confirmed that I had athlete's foot. He then decided to ask me all sorts of personal questions and he accosted me with questions about how much I drink (which later I found very ironic when I saw him on the front page of the local newspaper when he was arrested for a DUI). He gave me a prescription for a foot cream then sent me to check out. Two years later, and I repeat TWO YEARS LATER, I received a bill for $240. Apparently they lied to me about accepting my insurance, and now want me to pay more. DO NOT GO TO THIS DOCTOR'S OFFICE. They are not there to help you, and will will take every opportunity they can find to rip you off.
