Initially we had a consultation at the empty house to discuss the ideas my wife and I had for the each room, show her our favorite colors, what we planned on using each room, and immediately on the spot she came up with great suggestions already! We got a more elaborate design document with the proposed changes that she made, and everything was extremely helpful, from choosing decoration to the furniture quality and colors that would go well. All the process was very smooth and both Sanaz and her whole team were extremely responsive all the time, taking care of our requests with a lot of thought. Given that the house needed some renovations, she recommended a contractor that did the work perfectly (thanks, Ivan!) from Redesign Construction, and for final delivery of all furniture, everything was handled by 27 Diamonds with white glove delivery. I've now had 2 items framed at Latta Interiors. I was happy enough with the framing work on the…read morefirst item that I returned several months later with the second. For the second item I requested a metal frame. Henri mentioned that the metal frame would cost more than another material due to the added difficulty working with metal. Still, I opted for the metal frame given its depth, as the first view of the piece would be from the side when entering the room. Henri noted that it could take up to 2 weeks to complete the job, but that he would try to get to it sooner. 4 days later I received a call saying that he had completed the job, that it had turned out very well, and that he was eager for me to see it as soon as possible. He genuinely seemed quite excited and pleased with the result. I could hear in his voice how happy he was with the finished product. When I arrived I could see why he seemed so excited. The completed frame was flawless. And looking at the joins, I instantly recognized why he had cautioned me about the added cost associated with a metal frame. With metal, any nick, chip, or the slightest misalignment would be immediately obvious due to the contrast between the black paint and the lustrous metal underneath. Scrutinizing each of the corner joins of the frame I was unable to find even the slightest glimmer of bare metal. The precision of Henri's work was phenomenal. Each corner is joined perfectly. The frame truly looks like a single piece of metal. It is evident that Henri takes a great deal of pride in his work, which I feel to be the marque of a true craftsman. Latta Interiors is now my sole choice for custom framing. Of final note, I also appreciate that Latta Interiors is a local, family owned business.
