Working with Kathleen Ann Design was the most seamless experience I had during the entire remodel of our home. I had a vision and she translated the vision and made it better than the original! I am a busy mom of 4, but I also love pretty things. I wanted a practical kitchen on a day to day basis, yet I wanted the same kitchen to have a sleek design that I could transform and entertain my guests with elegance. One of the things that I was very particular on was having natural materials. The waterfall island is made of a natural quartzite as well as the shelves and walls/back splash. The cabinets are custom oak hardwood. The sink is a nice 42" work horse. Having solid materials makes this kitchen feel timeless! Kathleen made it happen! Kathleen was able to educate me on all the options I had. She offered details that went past the eye. She was so precise and organized. Her communication was continuous and timely. We worked with Kathleen Ann Design on a project over the past 6 months. We originally needed an experienced designer to confirm the decision to remove a couple of walls to increase the views and provide a more open space. Kathy showed up with her assistant, gave us the advice we needed and then spent time with us listening and helping us decide on furniture, fixtures, flooring and paint.
