The Billie Holiday

Fun!!! Love it. I've been here a few times and always enjoy the lovely craft cocktails. Great for pre-funking concerts and art district events. I had the Seasonal Billie Holiday and Sgt. Pepper drinks this evening. Delish. Try the Rita flatbread appetizer. Great Happy Hour Specials and kind, friendly bartenders, and fabulous ambience. Give it a try!

Went last night for a couple of drinks. Loved the ambiance and the food. The whiskey sour was seriously one of the best I've had. New to the area, will definitely be coming back!

The decor is expensive, either you love it or don't care. But it does have some cool features, like stars that shine thru the floor, 3 d photo artwork, bubble chandler . The happy hour is really cheap but they have an amazing selection of liquor that you don't normally see. Beer selection is special too. The thing that made it special are the bartenders that make drinks that taste amazing that you never seem before. Don't know if they will be there when you visit so good luck.

Nice cozy lounge. We were staying at Ruby Hotel. Had drinks. Friendly and fast bartender. Good place to go in between exploring downtown nite life.

A bite to eat and a Manhattan before a concert right around the corner at the Bing! The meatballs were really yummy - not something I would normally order but my friend recommended them and I will definitely order again. My Manhattan was heavenly - an exquisite presentation!

fun atmosphere, not to crowded even on a Saturday night. beers cold and the flatbreads good. Wish there was a more extensive food menu.

Great drinks and good service from staff . Place is small and a little out of the way from more central spots. No on site parking.

I enjoy sour drinks (I love a good whiskey sour) but there's a right level and there's too much.

We arrived around 5:30pm and left around 8. When we arrived we immediately felt warm and cozy. The vibes are absolutely immaculate! There are plants and cute decor everywhere and the lighting is really soothing. We were shown to a table in the back that was more private and it really felt like we had our own little garden that we were hanging out in. The server was very nice and friendly. Both she and the other server or bartender were friendly and attentive. We ordered a bunch of drinks throughout the night. I had two pinky promises because I don't drink and they were absolutely delicious. They have some great mocktail options to choose from! We also got the hummus board and the bites board and they were fantastic! The hummus board had two rotating hummus options - one was a normal hummus and the other was a beet hummus. The pita chips seemed freshly made and were AMAZING. I wish I could take a bag to go with me! The bites board was also amazing and had some delicious cheeses. We asked to have the meats replaced with other things to make it vegetarian and it was fantastic. They should add it as a menu item, we loved every bit of it! It didn't feel like it had substitutions at all. We loved every second of our time there and kept saying how we wished it was local to us. This place is an absolute gem and I hope it gets more traction because of how wonderful it is. If I ever visit Spokane again I will absolutely be back here!

Being full of plants and dog friendly added to the appeal for our crew. The service and cocktails were top notch, though I was a little sad that most of the food options I was interested in were not available. The charcuterie and hummus plates were nice, and ample servings for our whole table. Our small group had a great experience, and I truly hope more people will recognize what a gem this place is!

The whole atmosphere is dark, cozy, moody, and feels more like a hidden lounge than a typical downtown bar. Between the lighting, music, books, and dramatic cocktail menus, the vibe alone makes the place worth visiting. We tried the espresso martini, Painkiller, and Bloody Verde. The espresso martini was smooth and easy to drink without being overly sweet, and the Painkiller had that creamy tropical flavor that somehow still worked with the darker speakeasy atmosphere. Keeping it honest though, the Bloody Verde just wasn't for me personally. I can still appreciate the creativity behind it, but the flavor combo just didn't match my taste buds. That being said, if you like savory spicy cocktails, you'd probably feel very differently about it. Service was friendly, drinks came out looking great, and the music really tied the whole experience together. Definitely feels like one of Spokane's more unique cocktail spots if you want something moodier and more relaxed.

Their menu is very interesting, it definitely tells a new American story with a lot of influence, but holds traditional to a new American style. The service is incredible. Everyone seems so happy and alive. Every single thing that we got was perfect. The port flight was quite a steal at $20. We were excited to try some different items, but were even more thrilled when it came out with some amazing chocolate. The bread puffs that come before the meal are to die for, and we got a taquito appetizer that was super filling, fresh, vibrant, and a little unique too. I wish we didn't live all the way across the country! This is a must stop in Spokane for a lovely and memorable meal.

Yes, the chicken meat was so flavorful, and so tender...never experienced something like this. I told the bartender to give compliments to the chef. But, if you have money, or if you want to make an impression, by all means, this is the place. Quaint, nicely decorated place. Low light, quiet, everyone is happy. But, again, go for the food. Everything else is a plus. My first visit was a year ago. I had a fish dish. I'm asking myself why it took so long to go back! Dress nicely, you'll feel important.
