There are some very odd reviews of this restaurant on Yelp. The delivery charge listed was $2 (for the person who's complaint was a two hour delivery time and four dollar charge) and most sandwiches at a restaurant do not list every ingredient / veggie in them (onion girl). Maybe you only eat at Subway, home of the bread that has plastic in it. Anyway, most reviews in this town are poorly formed, and most restaurants in West New York under-perform (food and service) and they are overpriced. We ordered a spinach and sausage pizza that was tasty and had very high quality ingredients. The buffalo wings were juicy, but we thought they could have been a bit spicier (more flavor and hotter). I've never set foot in this place. I don't even know where it is. I looked it up on a map...nope, never even driven by it. How is the food so inexpensive? Nobody knows. Mystery. What do you want? Any food, any time of today, no questions asked. Correct, that is exactly what I want. My last order (for more than just me, relax) was two bacon, egg, and cheese sandwiches on a roll, chicken parmigiana, greek salad, and the churrasco special with broccoli and mashed potatoes. $28 with tax, tip, and delivery. It lasted two days. All was excellent. I recommend Santini's for those times when you don't really know what you want, have no idea what might sound good, and don't want to drop $40 on seamless only to discover you ordered a bunch of things you didn't actually want. A little of this, a little of that...most meals are under $10 and come with a lot of food. Everything (so far) has been good. Sure, there are better steaks, better breakfast sandwiches, and better Italian food options elsewhere...but for the cost (minimal), delivery time (minimal), and variety (maximal) - this place a pretty solid go-to. The greek salad and tomato basil soup are worth mentioning on their own; they routinely find themselves in our order, no matter what time of day. Delicious. It's a huge menu - you're bound to find something you love and something you like a lot less. Food is delicious and veryy reasonably priced! I usually get the Large skirt steak special (with extra pico de gallo) with rice, beans and maduros. The dish is $16.99 and is usually enough for 2 FULL dinners. It's one of my favorite dishes to order and they do a fantastic job! ALSO, I have to say that the girl who takes the delivery orders is incredible!! She's so pleasant and does not miss anything. Delivery always comes sooner than estimated, they're open pretty late. As many reviewers pointed out, this is a hit or miss spot. We ordered pork fritata, baby skirt steak, and side of maduros. The pork and steak were overly cooked and super dry - how is it even possible to have dry skirt steak??? The only thing about the pork fritata that I enjoyed is the avocado. Ordered from this place at eat24 for the first time. Had a pizza w/ pepperoni, bacon and meatballs. I liked it a lot. Meatballs tasted like meatloaf in a good way! It looks like they took the time to evenly distribute the toppings which I appreciate!! Especially at a late hour! I also tried the pasta with sausage, peppers and onions. Asked for al dente pasta and they delivered on that! My only not so fab complaint was the amount of liquid in the pasta dish and lack of cheese. I order through grubhub all the time (although the delivery fee sucks) and everything is always really good! Today when I got my order it wasn't as great as usual. The mozzarella sticks were completely crushed and there were only four (normally 6) .. I mean, they look horrible I'm surprised they would even send those out. Taquitos were different than normal and had beans and cheese on them .....they also didn't provide the guacamole sauce they normally do. They were good today but they were much better before when they were simple. I absolutely love ordering from this place! Their menu is extensive. And the delivery is free and fast. They pack everything well and their delivery staff is friendly. But most importantly - the food is simply amazing... I've loved everything that I've tried from Santinis so far. I can't believe that their prices are so reasonable. My favorite is the beef gyro. It's pretty big and it comes with lettuce, tomatoes and white sauce. It's served on real pita bread ($3.50) I order it with french fries - fresh and crispy ($2)The chicken quesadillas are great too ($5.) Their chicken noodle soup is excellent! This is another one of my favorite spots to call up for food pick up when it's too late to cook, so I try hard to eat healthy when I eat out. They have my favorite avocado salad (no other resturant make it like them ), and the salad consists of simple lettuce, carrots, radish, onion, tomatoes, and the secret avocado with cilantro salad dressing. I ALWAYS order this salad with my potatoe cheesecake! They are prepared to look like Palm size pancakes made of potatoes (no flour), stacked three high, topped with cheddar cheese, chopped red onion and cilantro. We ordered a full size skirt steak special, a chicken breast special & an order of nachos. First the negative, the chicken was just good... the nachos, the sides & my skirt steak were absolutely delicious!!! The food was delivered a few minutes late but it was well worth the wait & the price was decent compared to other places in the neighborhood. I would definitely recommend this place to all who ask. HORRIBLE SERVICE AND FOOD!!!!! I ordered from this restaurant this morning on Seamless. I ordered scrambled eggs, bacon, and cheddar cheese. I received a call from a gentleman in the restaurant confirming that I had requested cheddar cheese. I confirmed that I had. When I received the order I was disgusted. I had received scrambled eggs and bacon, and a whole heap of liquid cheese on top of the eggs. Cheddar cheese is a healthy part of a balanced diet. Liquid cheese has never been part of any healthy diet. It is nothing but chemicals, large amounts of salt, coloring, and fat. I took one bite to try to eat it but it truly was disgusting. I called the restaurant, sure that they would rectify the situation, as it's clear that they made an error. Well, the gentleman that I spoke to refused to do anything at all. I called Seamless, spoke to a rep and a manager. Both of them informed me that while they would call and speak to the manager, they could not force the restaurant to correct the situation. Seamless did credit me the price for the eggs. I would not order from Santinis Bistro ever again. I have used GrubHub for a long time, way before it became Seamless, and while there have been very few issues with the food delivered, the restaurants were always willing to rectify the situation. This is the first time that I came across a restaurant that would not. Well, I won't be using Santinis Bistro or Seamless again. If you enjoy artificial food such as liquid cheese, you would probably be very happy with this restaurant. Very dissapointed with this place the people answering the phone are super rude. When we received the order which was 2 Philly Cheesesteak with peppers onions and mushrooms sandwiches and 2 nachos the sandwiches had no vegetables and barely had meat. We called and the same lady answered when we explained she automatically answered rudely saying it was our fault that we said cheesesteak not philly when we told her that it was no true and that she even asked us if we wanted veggies and we said yes she continued saying that we are wrong and there is nothing they can do. Awesome food for the price and very friendly workers! The pizza and tacos are very 'meh' and I wouldn't order them again, but the cheesesteak and breakfast sandwiches were great! I've ordered from here before and they were "OK", only thing that makes them ok is because they're cheaper. But as they say, you get what you pay for. I've ordered a gyro before and they're not great, but edible. I ordered one today and first off, they didn't add the tziki sauce. So I called them and asked for it and they sent "a sauce" over, but it was ranch. So I called them again and told them I just didn't even want my order anymore and that I'd like my money back because at this point they were just too inconsistent. He argued about how the menu specifies just "white sauce", which I had the menu in front of me and it did not mention any sauce. He argued that it was not ranch sauce, in the meantime I had three different people try it and they each responded that it's ranch. The employee was extremely rude and argumentive and said he was not going to give me my money back and that he didn't care what I thought. I reminded him that it's good business practice to make your customer happy and he just wiped his ass with that.
