Decent food. Decent prices. On every occasion I have been there, the staff they have employed have been either lackluster or mediocre at best. Clearly a restaurant that is resting on its laurels because it is a local hangout. One day the competition will get the better of you and even the people in the South Hills will stop putting up with rude service, and they will go elsewhere. read more

I've been to this bar a handful of times and always had an enjoyable time. The last time I was there, I encountered the rudest bartender I ever met. I started out my night meeting a few friends on the patio. Our server was very nice and attentive. Later on I moved over to the outside bar to meet a group of friends. I ate my meal and when I went to leave I realized my bill was wrong. When I tried to bring it to the bartenders attention she was very rude and had the worst attitude. I didn't even want to leave a tip and the thought of leaving one to her makes me ill. But I left one in hopes that it would end up in the hands of my original server. One bad apple spoils the whole bunch. I will not patronize this business ever again. Again I can not stress how rude this bartender was for no reason. My mind is still blown how I was treated. Save your money or go to Primantis a mile away. read more

What a great place! The inside is huge with a stage area for bands. It's really cool. I was kinda annoyed that we drive for nearly an hour to get here. An hour for food, it better be good. And it was. We shown up in time for happy hour. Cheap drinks and appetisers. The food was excellent! I couldn't eat my main course cause I filled up on happy hour appetisers. But my sandwich went down well the next day. I will come again! read more

It's not easy to have a good time at an establishment when the entire staff hates their job. We had a group of 40 or so for an after-work get-together and we were treated like we were a nuisance. We were lectured and threatened repeatedly even though not one of us was causing a disturbance of any kind. It was clear from the minute we arrived that we were ruining what is usually a very quiet night for the staff...and they did everything in their power to make sure we knew that. I can tell you that I will NEVER go back to this place..and I know for sure that most of us that were there last night feels exactly the same way. STAY AWAY....seriously. read more

My husband and I Decided to try this place yesterday. It was a beautiful day so we wanted to sit outside. Worst experience ever! 6 regulars sitting at the bar outside dropping F bombs so loud! All of them were smoking and vaping right in front of the No smoking sign. The bartender was throwing down shots with them and could care less. One thing I cannot stand is trying to eat my lunch with peoples cigarette smoke blowing in my face. Our poor waitress was appalled and said unfortunately this is how it is there. The bathrooms were nasty. Then to end our already bad experience our server asked the manager to take a draft beer off of our bill because we did not like it or drink it and she looked at me and rolled her eyes. We will never ever go back to this place! read more

Very cool place. For an appetizer we had the wet cajun wings which were flavorful and cooked perfectly. They could have been a little more meaty but very good nonetheless. My wife had the taco bowl salad which was excellent and very large. I had the pulled pork sandwich which was good but not great. Lots of good beers on tap and the staff was fast & friendly. read more

I had patronized Frankie I's several times last year and spread a lot of good words about what a nice establishment it was. Good food, good beer, good music, kind staff, nice building - a really good place to eat, drink and listen to music. Unfortunately I went there in early April (2017) and had a completely different experience. The food, beer and music were still very good, but apparently they have implemented a no re-entry policy for music events - and hired an arrogant door man to enforce it. The man was extremely rude to everyone in my party and made everyone extremely uncomfortable. They own the place and have a right to implement whatever policies they want - as I understand they've had trouble with fights there in recent history. My problem was with the attitude and approach taken by the doorman with enforcing the new rule. Being offensive and demeaning to paying, friendly customers is NOT a recipe for success. I will most likely not return until I hear that this situation is addressed. read more

Was appalled at their lack of attention to COVID regulations. If you don't care about being safe go there. Also the bartenders were rude!

Have been here a few times and the service has always been good. The food was ok but nothing special. Went last night and again the service was good but my sandwich was probably the worst I've had. It was a Club, the bread was under toasted, cold and so dry I couldn't eat it. We would go there because they have a good beer selection, but won't be going back. read more

While certainly a sustainable upgrade to the past iteration of this place, it lacks consistent delivery of food needed to give it four stars. Food can range from above average to merely functional and at times to undercooked. The bar program lacks a variety of spirits (especially local spirits/craft beer), training on proper drink crafting and the use of fresh juices. The bar is geared more towards the commercial beer drinker. The staff is pleasant and the atmosphere is relaxed. I hear this places gets somewhat rowdy on the weekend for concert nights. I believe a focus on delivering the food product consistently with a bolstered bar program (one with a clear focus and identity) could elevate Frankie Is above the swarm of competition about to saturate the area. read more

First visit here and look forward to many more. Saturday night our big party of 16 was accommodated very well. We made a reservation ahead of time for 630. We sat down upon arrival. Waitress and staff were on point the entire time. Food was prepared and delivered promptly. I had the marinated steak tips and wings. Both were delicious. Wings were crispy and I had the sauce on the side. Steak tips were ordered and delivered medium. Good beer selection. Nice indoor and outdoor bar areas. read more

Delicious HUGE portions! Came in exactly as they opened and the bartender was warm , friendly and ready to feed these weary travelers stuck from the snow storm! Great bar food! Awesome beer selection! read more

They are 100% following all of the rules for Covid but the manager is drunk drinking miller light bottles I didn't even know he was the manager until he yelled at me for standing next to a seat and yelling at my friends. This is one of the best venues South of Pittsburgh for live music! Great stage and sound, and the food is really good! Everything is reasonably priced, and we were pleasantly surprised by everything. We'll definitely be heading back to check out the outdoor patio area as well. Two thumbs up. read more

Horrible experience. We used to come here often, and we always enjoyed our food and experience...not this time. We went here for a date night. We were harassed by a drunken regular. My boyfriend was threatened , and we were cussed at by the drunken patron. When we called the owner over, he did not ask the man to leave, nor was the man asked to leave us alone. The intoxicated patron became louder, and he continued to threaten us. We left without eating our meal. We won't be back. I felt unsafe in this establishment. Food was amazing. Ordered through DoorDash and we had it quickly. The Italian hoagie was great. Homemade chips were crispy and not soggy. The veggie salad was so good. It is mixed greens rather than all iceberg, which was a plus for me. I loved the artichokes and pepperocinis too. The shrimp dinner was good, my friend said. The steak hoagie was also good. We will definitely be ordering again in the future. read more

Great place to eat, friendly service very clean and a good fair price. I recommend the battered fish sandwich it was awesome.

My wife and I Went to Frankie I's for wing night ordered 18 hot wings nachos and drinks. I ordered 18 wings so I would have left overs for lunch tomorrow as I had to work a double shift. Food was good and service was ok, but when I asked for a box I was told that I could not take my wings out. This is the only place I have been to that had this policy. We threw more food away than we ate. It's a shame that they lost 2 customers at least for wing night over a stupid policy. There's plenty of places to get wings around here and no need to leave upset over something stupid. read more

Great place to visit!!!! Went on a Saturday afternoon and there were roughly 7 other people there. Quick service. I got the chicken tacos and they might just be the best tacos I've ever had, packed full of flavor. Prices are more than decent in my opinion. Didn't expletive a band but they have a stage. My one and only gripe is the jukebox, if no one plays anything, you're left watching one of the many TVs while listening to the LOUD hum of speakers. Other than that, highly recommend. read more

Meh. Cool atmosphere but my shrimp diablo pasta was inedible, literally. And the wait staff are definitely not hired for their knowledge of the menu or events, or attentiveness to the patrons. read more

I've eaten there twice and the food is awesome, especially the wings. Last Friday we got there at 4:30. My husband is in a wheelchair and we wanted to sit inside. I was surprised at how many people were there. I told the manager no problem we will wait. There was a man sitting in a booth by himself and the manager asked him if he would mind moving to a high top table. He graciously did so we were seated right away. It was a penguin playoff game so it was pretty noisy but it is a sports bar and we didn't mind. Will go back soon. read more

Been here quite a few times since my last post. I love to see bands here, great stage gets a little tight when they get packed especially when Ruff Creek rocks the house, i dig the scene. I've learned what's good n the menu, I love the steak tips and the sauce they come with and an order of their home made chips. Great mix. Decent salads. Usually their specials are not bad. Pizza is not too bad. Burgers are tasty. Still waiting to et impressed with their wings and sandwiches...someday.Wait staff hustle. hostess jen can be helpful to get a table, make friends with her for sure deck is sweet in good weather. Over all this bar is the best on the rt.19 corridor, you can have alot of fun here. They need a least 1 bouncer/cooler, drunk people fight especially with so many beautiful women, its a recipe for a rumble. Good times. read more

The food was fine. Typical bar food - I had the Italian hoagie and fries. The people were friendly enough, but we couldn't figure out why service was so slow. The place was empty. There seemed to be 1 girl waiting on us and 1 other table inside and a few tables outside. Maybe there was also only 1 person in the kitchen? They were also out of their Philly cheesesteak sandwiches and onion rings, but that could be Sunday stuff and maybe they are the most popular items. read more

Came here on a Sunday afternoon and we were only one of two tables in the place. The server was friendly and efficient. My husband had the fish sandwich and fries and I had a taco salad. Both were very good. The portions were large. We both took food home and made another meal out of it. It looks like it might be a nice place to see a band or hang w friends. I would eat there again if I'm in Washington. read more

Unbelievable. I was visiting the area for work from out of town and found this on Yelp. If this place was open where I live, there would be a 2-3 hour wait. The wings are very good and the prices are unbelievable. I am going back tomorrow for sure. I hope the next time I visit here they aren't out of the inexpensive 16 oz ribeyes! read more

Service was awful. Dirty tables. Dirty plates! Even when nobody was in the place. Bad attitude and even worse paying attention to customers. Didn't even supply silverware until our food came out 45 minutes later. Steak and appetizers were disgusting. Could not even digest the food put in front of me. Owner/manager was rude when approached about it. Gave even more attitude. Don't go here if you want good food or service. Disgusting. read more

Traveled all the way from Salem, Oregon to check out this bar for the raving reviews! You will not be disappointed this bar is great. Our Bartender made delicious frozen strawberry margaritas that can't be beat! The food is scrumptious and wings are bomb! Our waitress was very attentive to our needs. The environment of this bar is very welcoming especially to this out of stater. The band Rough Creek that played sure knows how to get the bar going. I will definitely be back !! read more

My friend and I came here today, and it really wasn't anything special. We had the BIGF appetizer (jalapeño poppers, chicken tenders, mozzarella sticks, and fried zucchini). I had the tenders and sticks; he had the poppers and zucchini. We were both content with what we got, but I don't think we got enough for a $12 appetizer. I had a Caesar salad, which was bad. It was absolutely laced in dressing and had quite a bitter taste to it. My friend had a chicken sandwich and fries. He thought it was great. I tasted the fries and they were good. Our server was Cindy; she didn't introduce herself or seem overly interested. Maybe she was having an off day; but the service was not very good. If I'm back in the area, I might try this joint again (and I wouldn't order the Caesar salad), but I certainly won't drive clear down from Cranberry to do it. read more

Good drinks. Great bartenders. Delicious appetizers. Try the pickles and the raviolis. Both had delicious sauce!

Great bar, good food. Fun environment. Went a couple weeks ago and overall good service.

Buyer beware of hidden charges at this place. The food is good the waitresses are nice. But we went for wing night during happy hour. As advertised, appetizers are $3 during happy hour but what they don't tell you is that they have separate appetizers from what is listed on the menu. We specifically asked the waitress about the happy hour appetizers, then made our order from the menu. She never told us that our choice was not included in the happy hour pricing. We then ordered our wings, she asked us if we wanted celery and dressing, she never told us that there was an up charge for the celery and dressing. What should have been a $20 check cost us over $30. Just another place to look for scams. read more

We were regulars here but they have nickeled and dimed us way too much. Extra dressing (when the waitress brought us the wrong dressing to start) .75, gravy extra 1.50 (for country fried pork and potatoes), and a $2.00 "bottle opening" fee for a glass of wine! None of this was mentioned prior or has been charged before....our average bill was $70. I think it's bad customer service when someone is there quite a bit to charge for little things i.e.gravy,that should've been on the potatoes to begin with. We won't be back for awhile. Primanti's is down the road with great food and is customer friendly! read more

Decent place, came here with a group, some who have been here before, some of us weren't. Food portions and quality were great. My club sandwich was tasty, fresh ham and turkey, not the cheap deli meat I usually get and fresh cut fries, nice and crisp, and they have horseradish sauce, always gets points in my book. Others ordered the fish sandwich, which was huge, Rueben sandwich, which looked quite tasty and my friend who ordered said it was delicious. The chicken breast meal left a lot to be desired and the steak was just ok. Ok beer choice. Waitress was nice but we found it unnecessary for her to tell us her house burnt down and she is suffering from smoke inhalation...we are decent tippers without a sob story... read more
