The food is insanely good (from Big Fellas -- connected/ next door) and the beer selection is great.

Food was just as impressive... the Reuben egg rolls were delicious, and the fried green tomato sandwich was a standout and different! (highly recommend getting it with the beer battered fries ). Loved the decor, great atmosphere, and the service was super friendly. Definitely worth checking out, we'll be back! Plan accordingly: 3% charge for using credit card

In addition to the indoor tables and bar seating, they also have some picnic tables out front. The server greeted us immediately and was very attentive throughout. We tried the blueberry beer and shandy. I wasn't a huge fan of the beer, but the food was so good! They have some basic menu items, as well as some unusual ones. I went with the Parmesan fried green tomatoes sandwich, and it was delicious! I also had plenty of leftovers to take home. My husband enjoyed his Italian hoagie, and our kids shared the pizza, which was also a large portion for the price. The inside is decorated so uniquely, too, with cute framed photos, a large chandelier, and animals on the walls. The vibes were super cute, and we'll definitely be back!

If I'm being truthful, I would pack my things and move into this restaurant. All in all I probably will never come back because I live no where near Pittsburgh, but it was a great experience. One of the bartenders then came over with menus and took our drink orders. She brought over the drinks but then went outside and sat at a tent they had set up in front of the restaurant. We never had anyone come over to take our food orders. After a very long wait, one member of our party went up to the bar to tell them no one took our food orders. We then finally got a different bartender who took our food orders. We ordered a steak salad, a chicken salad, a taco salad and a Pittsburgh salad. It took a very long time to finally receive our food. The taco salad meat was way overcooked and hard. The steak, chicken and Pittsburgh salads were good. A totally different server brought our checks, and three of them were wrong. Not the best experience.

They've got a rotating draft list with a great mix of local beers and some from outside the area, plus whiskey and wine options. I went with a liter of the Kolsch, huge pour and absolutely delicious. For food, I had the smoked turkey, and it was outstanding, perfectly done. We also shared the poutine, which was a little different than what you might expect, but seriously good. Everyone at the table loved what they ordered. We grabbed dessert to go, and I had the pecan pie, wow. Just incredible. The waitstaff was friendly, on the ball, and did an outstanding job--service really stood out. This place is off-the-hook good. Can't wait to come back. Cheers

Flavorful, juicy, and with a little char from being thrown back on the grill. Great fries too. Bbq baked beans were pretty good. Plenty of seating, inside and out. Real glassware and utensils, and of course a very "casual ambience" Service was ok. They were nice, busy, and slow to return for support, or order taking. Overall the food was just ok for me. For bbq, there was no smoke detected. No ring, no smoke flavor. Ribs were fall off the bone and moist. Pulled pork and brisket weren't dried out, just lacked flavor and I wasn't a fan of the sauces. Turkey was good. Pulled chicken was juicy with a heavy paprika flavor. Would I come back? Sure. A beer and that sausage, maybe with a side of baked beans or some fries!! An unsauced rack of ribs would do the trick too.

This is the worst primantis I've EVER been too. I have been to at least 4 different primantis and…read morehave NEVER been as disrespected as I was at this location. We came in after a round of golf to relax and have a bite to eat. The meat portions on our sandwiches were so small that any cook there should've been embarrassed to serve it. As you can see from the picture, and please note, it's supposed to be a tall boy which means extra meat, there is nothing on the bun except the hard green tomato and a slice of crappy deli. They also should've just apologized in advance when serving us that our supplier gave us terrible tomatoes so we left them off the sandwich. Every other primantis I have been too has had atleast double this tiny "portion" size of meat. We're literally paying extra for a bigger sandwich and yet we got a slice of meat on a bun. Out of character for my boyfriend, he said something to the bartender about there being no meat. And she reluctantly said I'll request a new one. Then, prior to receiving the new sandwich, the bartender confronted us about the size of the sandwich, like we were being difficult, and continued with it was pre-portioned to be the same size as all other Primantis locations and would not be larger or better. All we took from this is its pre-made the day before and not fresh in any way. Given that all we said was, there's no meat and a green tomato on my bun, which is not our normal experience at Primantis, we're disappointed. She then said, If you want, Ill take both sandwiches off the bill so you'll have a free sandwich. You know, the sandwich we never ate!!! All my boyfirend said was yes, take it off the bill and close us out. And he did say its not a free sandwich if I didn't eat it!! Too bad Jim Patrinos doesn't still own the business as he would be so embarrassed at what this primantis has become. The manager (Ryan) did come over, without us requesting, to address our experience. So clearly he was clearly alerted to our dissatisfaction. He apologized profusely, made a completely new sandwich, even though we said no thanks as we needed to leave, and comped part of our check that we had already paid. Obviously to anyone reading this, Primantis will only go so far for the consumer and must be in horrible financial straights since they should've comped the whole bill. What's two drinks to a company this size, right? Well, apparently they will go out of business if you get a extra slice of meat or drink to make up for them serving you what is unacceptable for any consumer. It will take a lot for me to visit a Primanti's in the future. Their food has been going down hill for years and barely edible.
