They were contracted to replace a door handle and a tap, simple jobs. Very clear instructions were given in writing via email and also on the phone. Unfortunately the tap they fitted was loose and a completely inappropriate handle was fitted, despite detailed conversation about what would be correct. One could see this as an honest mistake had they not try to get me to pay to make the poor job good! I ended up replacing the door handle myself to a good standard but the tap botch seems so bad that a new unit will have to be fitted. So be warned even if you are clear as crystal and have everything in writing you still may be expected to pay for bad work to be made good.
