For food, split the Prosciutto Pizza (around $10.000pesos) - a large thin crust with cheese, marinara sauce, tomatoes, and prosciutto. Ingredients are kinda thrown together in no particular way, but it's good enough to have with the drinks we had. Service was slow and they were out of a few things. This restaurant is located in downtown Santiago, in a nice and quiet area close to Plaza Brasil. We stayed at the "terraza" which is actually located downstairs, but in a covered patio area. Really nice and spacious. It wasn't really cold even though it's winter. They bring you a bread of basket to start that also comes with some cocktail empanadas that are absolutely delicious. My husband ordered a whiskey sour and I ordered a margarita. My margarita is the best one I have had in Chile. For food I ordered the "biffe chorizo, lomo vetado" cooked medium with a side of creamed corn. My meat was perfectly cooked and so big that I was able to share it with my sister. Our server was attentive and efficient, but he gave us time to talk, think about what we wanted and enjoy our food. I thought I would still give it a try. It could be some quirky cultural misinterpretation, I'm open to being patient for new cultural and food experiences. The bife de chorizo vetado was the toughest piece of shoe leather I have ever had. 40,000 pesos later I am incredibly disappointed. Avoid at all costs.
