I live in Los Angeles and arrived in a Brandon hotel after a long trip. I decided I didn't want to…read morego out for dinner and looked for a pizzeria instead that does delivery. So I ordered from Fast Fired Pizza in Brandon, MB. These are the highlights of my dinner experience ordering pizza from them for delivery: 1) The lady on the phone who took my pizza was polite, kind, and friendly. I even asked if she can put ground black pepper on the side and I was sure (as in LA happens a lot) she would forget about it. Guess what? She didn't and sent me a container with fresh ground pepper (not even those old bagged paper ones). 2) The guy who did the delivery was also very polite and kind. He said that their service delivery was shut down tonight bc it was too cold (-40C), so he brought it directly from Pizzaria himself. Well, thank you very much for that. I wasn't going to go out either, so thank you for saving me from staying hungry. 3) Last but not least, the pizza was beautiful. Lots of toppings, whole wheat well balanced thin crust, yummy and yummy all the way. As I was eating it I thought this pizza was better than any pizza I had in Los Angeles. All these years in LA, the pizzas are either burnt crusted, or salty, or no flavor, or have weird toppings that don't go together, or are too doughy or too thin, etc. It has been a long time since I truly enjoyed having a well-balanced pizza. The Fast Fired pizza is balanced and great. I certainly order again. Also for the record, I never heard so many "sorry" in one day. Great people. Thank you, Brandon, MB!

What a fantastic restaurant! A good reason to head downtown Brandon. Was a great experience!…read moreThe five of us went there tonight to celebrate a birthday. Only one person in our group was there prior, but only during lunch. I had attempted to book a reservation via their website. Received a confirmation email that they received my request, but never an actual confirmation for our reservation. We arrived at 1730, no record of our reservation, but not a big deal as we were seated in a nice big booth. I was pleasantly surprised by the decor! Honestly, I wasn't sure what to expect mainly because of the location. Our server was super friendly, probably one of the best servers we have had in a long time. Drink orders were taken. Shortly after the owner Benny came to apologize to us about our reservation! Said he has been having issues with the reservatioservice. We ordered Calamari for starters. The Special (BBQChicken Breast and Ribs (1/2 rack) Classic Burger and fries Steak Sandwich (med rare) w/ Caesar salad Chicken Strips w/fries And Lamb Shank. Fantastic! The only complaint/criticism was with the Ribs and Chicken. The sauce seemed generic, as it came from a big "Kraft" jug. This place should make their sauce pop, and be remarkable! Very bland, forgettable, was kinda "meh"ish. The other meals were really good. The steak sandwich was cooked perfectly and well seasoned. The burger was delicious! The lamb was above expectations! Our server offered the Birthday recipient an option of deserts, and was accepted, and chose turtle cheesecake that was devoured! Really yummy, and a nice touch from the restaurant! We will definitely return! Thanks Benny's! Fantastic! Update (12 Oct 2018) Went there tonight for an evening out with friends....absolutely fantastic! 2x Chorizo Burgers - awesome 1x CLASSIC CARBONARA - delicious 1x Prime Rib Med Rare - the best I have personally had in years! (Available fri-sat) The only downside to this absolute gem is the location. Food, is so worth it!
