Assorted Cold Cuts is identical to the Mr Sub offering, as is the Meatball (only two subs I've had). Staff is efficient and charming, and service is quick. They use good ingredients in their food and their breads are home made. All their veggies are fresh and the place is fairly clean. The decor leaves a lot to be desired and they don't seem to like to turn up the thermostat too much. The staff is a bit hit and miss, some are friendly and others are typical fast food grumblers. The best part for me is the home made feel and quality ingredients. The prices are good and for lunch, I'm not looking for a fine dining experience.

It wasn't too busy when I went on a Friday afternoon, as it was off-peak season (early March). Not much ambiance in the restaurant, and its over the counter service. They have a good selection of sandwiches, soups, and pizza. I had the Canuck Pizza, which consists of capicollo, bacon, and drunken mushrooms. The pizza dough itself wasn't anything to be amazed over, but the toppings were delicious, especially the mushrooms, which had a very unique taste that I didn't expect at all. For a small town deli this more than punches above its weight. Definitely recommend here if you're ever in the area visiting the swinging bridge or for other purposes.

Service was friendly and quick even though the girl serving us had a trainee. We had a Stuffed Crust Maple Bacon pizza (never had it before) and it was good. Just sick and tired of all the haters and grumpy people who don't like a young atmosphere with poppy music. BTW, this is the first time I have been to a pizza hut in over 2 years and YES I would go back. Was sorry to hear of the recent robbery. Hope they catch'em.

What a fantastic restaurant! A good reason to head downtown Brandon. Was a great experience!…read moreThe five of us went there tonight to celebrate a birthday. Only one person in our group was there prior, but only during lunch. I had attempted to book a reservation via their website. Received a confirmation email that they received my request, but never an actual confirmation for our reservation. We arrived at 1730, no record of our reservation, but not a big deal as we were seated in a nice big booth. I was pleasantly surprised by the decor! Honestly, I wasn't sure what to expect mainly because of the location. Our server was super friendly, probably one of the best servers we have had in a long time. Drink orders were taken. Shortly after the owner Benny came to apologize to us about our reservation! Said he has been having issues with the reservatioservice. We ordered Calamari for starters. The Special (BBQChicken Breast and Ribs (1/2 rack) Classic Burger and fries Steak Sandwich (med rare) w/ Caesar salad Chicken Strips w/fries And Lamb Shank. Fantastic! The only complaint/criticism was with the Ribs and Chicken. The sauce seemed generic, as it came from a big "Kraft" jug. This place should make their sauce pop, and be remarkable! Very bland, forgettable, was kinda "meh"ish. The other meals were really good. The steak sandwich was cooked perfectly and well seasoned. The burger was delicious! The lamb was above expectations! Our server offered the Birthday recipient an option of deserts, and was accepted, and chose turtle cheesecake that was devoured! Really yummy, and a nice touch from the restaurant! We will definitely return! Thanks Benny's! Fantastic! Update (12 Oct 2018) Went there tonight for an evening out with friends....absolutely fantastic! 2x Chorizo Burgers - awesome 1x CLASSIC CARBONARA - delicious 1x Prime Rib Med Rare - the best I have personally had in years! (Available fri-sat) The only downside to this absolute gem is the location. Food, is so worth it!
