However, I wanted to see what was out there and available now many years later. I felt confident in my search as I had my previous experiences to help me when it came time to order so I perused the Web to see what the Pizza options were now. I found several of the old stand-bys who were obviously still putting out decent pies; then I noticed Santa Lucia and was intrigued by what seemed to be an authentic dedication to a quality pie. Even though they were a little more expensive I didn't mind if they backed up what they promoted; attention to quality. I can tell you right now, I was not disappointed; I went to the restaurant to pickup my order and the staff were very personable, they even tossed in a small, last customer of the night bonus (a little topping booster). The only thing better then the service personnel was the taste of some of the best pizza my tastebuds have ever experienced; it was a pure taste delight...the toppings were fresh, the cheese was rich & lush, the tantalizing sauce was stellar & complemented the cheese & toppings perfectly.....well done Santa Lucia...the pizzas in a word were "magnifico"....so this is what pizza heaven tastes like....I only wish there were one of these restaurants in Alberta.... - Wes B....

So I ordered from Fast Fired Pizza in Brandon, MB. These are the highlights of my dinner experience ordering pizza from them for delivery: 1) The lady on the phone who took my pizza was polite, kind, and friendly. I even asked if she can put ground black pepper on the side and I was sure (as in LA happens a lot) she would forget about it. Guess what? She didn't and sent me a container with fresh ground pepper (not even those old bagged paper ones). 2) The guy who did the delivery was also very polite and kind. He said that their service delivery was shut down tonight bc it was too cold (-40C), so he brought it directly from Pizzaria himself. Well, thank you very much for that. I wasn't going to go out either, so thank you for saving me from staying hungry. 3) Last but not least, the pizza was beautiful. Lots of toppings, whole wheat well balanced thin crust, yummy and yummy all the way. As I was eating it I thought this pizza was better than any pizza I had in Los Angeles. All these years in LA, the pizzas are either burnt crusted, or salty, or no flavor, or have weird toppings that don't go together, or are too doughy or too thin, etc. It has been a long time since I truly enjoyed having a well-balanced pizza.
