However, I wanted to see what was out there and available now many years later. I felt confident in my search as I had my previous experiences to help me when it came time to order so I perused the Web to see what the Pizza options were now. I found several of the old stand-bys who were obviously still putting out decent pies; then I noticed Santa Lucia and was intrigued by what seemed to be an authentic dedication to a quality pie. Even though they were a little more expensive I didn't mind if they backed up what they promoted; attention to quality. I can tell you right now, I was not disappointed; I went to the restaurant to pickup my order and the staff were very personable, they even tossed in a small, last customer of the night bonus (a little topping booster). The only thing better then the service personnel was the taste of some of the best pizza my tastebuds have ever experienced; it was a pure taste delight...the toppings were fresh, the cheese was rich & lush, the tantalizing sauce was stellar & complemented the cheese & toppings perfectly.....well done Santa Lucia...the pizzas in a word were "magnifico"....so this is what pizza heaven tastes like....I only wish there were one of these restaurants in Alberta.... - Wes B....

The restaurant itself comes across as worn and tired. Exterior and interior. However it was genuine Greek decor as you might expect inside. We went during the dinner hour on a Sunday evening on a long weekend and it was a busy place frequented by many regulars which speaks of both the atmosphere and the food. Nevertheless my wife and I both thought it was somewhat pricey. And there was a genuine fly in the ointment as a fly continued to fly around our food throughout our meal, landing at times which was somewhat distracting.
