Stop by this little gem this morning. You can't beat the price for their amazing food. Just remember that the restaurant is old but clean and charming. One of the best part is the service. We were blessed with having a young lady named Mardelle as our server. She is awesome . Now not to take away the other workers . I have to say they all were very busy and it appears everyone works together. The staff gets 10 . read more

Still the exact same place I remember, and that's a great thing. I stopped by while visiting my hometown of Brandon, and everything was just as good as it's always been. The prices are still great, and the breakfast items are the real highlight here (though lunch is solid too). Their omelettes in particular are fantastic -- hearty, flavorful, and cooked perfectly. Service is still as friendly as always, and it's nice to see that the interior seems to have received an upgrade compared to many years ago when I grew up in Brandon. It's comforting to see a local spot like this stay consistent over the years. Komfort Kitchen really lives up to its name. read more

Was excited to finally get to eat here. Heard alot of good things for the last couple of years about the food. Walked in and was told to take a table or booth. Sat down and about 6 minutes later was greeted by waitress and given menus. Asked for coffee and water, it comes a few minutes later. Place seems fairly clean. Had to kinda decipher how the menu was formatted. Ordered (Chicken Hand Helds) La Montreal, sounded interesting! And the Greek Zorba and Hamburger soup. 2 more tables of 2 came in and received there food before us!? Asked the hostess/waitress if they forgot about us , she said I'll check, never came back, asked waitress she said no but it takes about 20 minutes for food to come out...it's been 30, and not even offered a second cup of coffee!? Couldn't figure out why the Soup wasn't brought, the Staff were all going to it and stirring it and taking some for themselves!? Food finally came, first thing I noticed was the Chicken Breasts were Sysco pre-grilled frozen breasts. My So Called Caramelized Onions were only sautéed and dripping of grease on the bottom Bun, House sauce should have been between the chicken and Montreal meat and on top bun, Baby Dills on it () Really? Low end head lettuce used. Sandwich was Mediocre in Flavor, Home Fries were limp and under cooked ( Cold ). Hamburger Soup (Meat was not drained of Grease ) Needed Slightly more Flavor. Finally got top up of coffee, was asked if I wanted more Water After I was Finished Meal. Overall thought we'd get homemade meals, especially for the Price you Pay!! Not sure what the hype was all about, Maybe the Breakfasts are better. Extremely Unimpressed and DISAPPOINTED!! read more

We came in just 40 minutes before closing (3 pm). The club Sandwich I had was great...hot...big...tasty. I had a potato bacon soup as a side. Again...tasty. The omelet tea my wife had looked very good, as well. The young waitress served us well. It was a very good experience...and, with it being close to closing, it was not busy or crowded. I've been here just before noon and it is usually full, and you have to wait in line. read more

Absolutely delicious home style breakfast food. Our family including two small children were delighted by the food and the incredibly helpful server. Fun diner feeling! read more

Good food! Good service! Stopped in for breakfast with the family, and we all found something good to eat. Pirogies were delightful. Definitely worth stopping in for. read more

Not much to look at, but the staff was friendly, and because we were in before 11, the basic breakfast was on sale for $7.99 (usually $12.00). Two eggs, bacon, ham, or sausage, hash browns and toast...served quickly....done perfectly. The atmosphere is typical cafe. Parking on the street (metered). A busy spot with people constantly coming in. We looked over the rest of the menu and they have interesting items.. we will be back for lunch sometime! read more

Food was ok, no poached eggs was nearly a game changer Poutine was average Other dishes were ok Perogy however was bad read more

I have never had a meal I didn't love at Komfort Kitchen. The portion sizes are large, the ingredients are local and everything is comforting about the atmosphere. I highly recommend! read more

We have tried both the lunch lasagna and a few weekday breakfast specials. The lasagna was excellent. The B&Es are great. Particularly if you like their rather crunchy potatoes. Atmosphere is comfortable and the staff very friendly. They also sell frozen entrees that we have not tried yet. I would recommend this establishment to friends. read more

Best breakfast spot in Brandon without a doubt. Hunger platter doesn't disappoint if you're hungry, basic breakfast is a little more reasonable if you're not starving. Hash browns and perogies are usually the highlight. Dank read more

Went for lunch with a group of ten picky eaters. I had the deluxe beef with gravy and it was delicious. The dessert was a perfect apple pie. read more

May not be a new and fancy place but do not let that fool you. Staff warm and friendly. Everything is home cooked. I had a bacon cheeseburger and poutine. Absolutely one if the best burgers I've had! Reminded me of how small town restaurants used to be. Definitely recommend. read more

Komfort Kitchen - a plate of food - Breakfast & Brunch Near Me - Brandon, Manitoba

Cute spot but a little pricey for the food quality. Good place for buffet breakfast but busy on Saturday mornings. Breakfast offered all day and other than Saturday mornings, walk-ins are usually seated pretty quickly. I enjoyed the food and would go back, but it does not make my list of favourites. read more

The service and atmosphere is warm and welcoming! Cindy always has a smile, and is ready to top up your coffee cup. The food is wonderful. Just what I want. And there is a good variety, and reasonable prices, for everyone. This is the second time I've come here. The first time I came for Sunday brunch. Awesome! I'll be back again, and again. read more

Decor 1 star. Service 2 stars. Food 3 stars. Cost 5 stars. Overall 3 stars! Our eggs were overcooked. Poached medium should be yolky. Sadly, no. I ordered rye toast, and ended up with white. Meh. Didn't complain. Our server disappeared and never checked on us anyways. Two early bird brekky's and coffee came to $14. Unreal. I'd go back. read more

I visited Komfort Kitchen for breakfast mid-week. While they have no vegan breakfast options, they have a burger called the "Vegan Bomb". I ordered it with fruit so it would feel breakfast-y. The burger was messy but delicious with a house made patty. I sat on the patio and the service was very friendly and she visited often, always ready to top up our coffee. I recommend visiting if you're in Brandon! read more

Good atmosphere. The kind of good service that says hello and makes a personal comment as an ice breaker. The weekend baffet has a good select variety which is not balanced, but tastes great! read more

Great food! We went there for the first time this morning after seeing reviews in Yelp. We were pleasantly surprised!
