We told her how we used to go to The Keg all the time for our anniversary but have now switched to Browns because EVERYTHING is so much BETTER! We ALWAYS enjoy going to Browns, we've been there on several occasions & have NEVER been disappointed! The ambiance is so much better too, it brighter, good music, GREAT service! The prices are still great, and the breakfast items are the real highlight here (though lunch is solid too). Their omelettes in particular are fantastic -- hearty, flavorful, and cooked perfectly. Service is still as friendly as always, and it's nice to see that the interior seems to have received an upgrade compared to many years ago when I grew up in Brandon. It's comforting to see a local spot like this stay consistent over the years. Komfort Kitchen really lives up to its name.

Low end head lettuce used. Sandwich was Mediocre in Flavor, Home Fries were limp and under cooked ( Cold ). Hamburger Soup (Meat was not drained of Grease ) Needed Slightly more Flavor. Finally got top up of coffee, was asked if I wanted more Water After I was Finished Meal. Overall thought we'd get homemade meals, especially for the Price you Pay!! We learned a lot about the history of this cafe, Brandon's downtown, its support towards the LGBTQ+ community, and it being a nice social event spot during nights and weekends. I went for an iced tea here, as it wasn't too cold of a day. Many others went for their coffee, and they all liked it. I also liked the iced tea, it was the perfect amount of sweetness. I always like supporting local business when I visit new cities, and this place is no exception. They deserve your support here if you're ever around Brandon's downtown area.

The skillets come out sizzling. My mushrooms and some of the sirloin where charred from the skillet being far too hot. My wife had a similiar experience with her onions being charred. I mentioned it to the server when she took away my plate and said she would mention it to the kitchen. It should have been very evident from what was left from my meal that it was unacceptable. I would have expected a follow-up from a manager or a comped dessert or something. Nope, instead we got a $100 bill. I'm just sorry to the server that it had to be reflected in the gratuity

There is no "Normal" menu item of "Bacon, eggs, toast & pan-fries" listed, but possibly available à la carte for even more. Food came out fairly slowly even though it was not very busy. Will not be trying it again as the price was way too high and the quality was too low. See photo for what the $14.00 breakfast looks like (minus the two pancakes). Add coffee for a $17.00 breakfast!
