Great restaurant. It's giving "Irish Pub." Good food, good drinks, great service. Comfortable atmosphere. Won't break the bank.

My girlfriends and I love to go here for our girls' night out! We've always had good food but usually slow service but it been worth the wait many times! We always have a good time but the pool tables have never been available when we've been there because they are reserved. When we called to ask if we could reserve a pool table they told us that they didn't do that and we couldn't we still had a good time and the food was great. read more

This is me and my families all time favourite restaurant in Brandon, food is so good every time! Cocktail menu is so creative! My personal favourite is the Alabama buffalo wings and the dock burger! In the summer it's such a treat to sit on the patio! Have the tunes rolling and it's so nice! When your inside it's great too! Amazing service! And best place to watch your favourite sports games!! That's a Texas-sized...meh. It's a nice looking joint, we were pretty darned hopeful when we walked in. We came in for the 20% off burgers and $7.50 Keith's schooners I had read was their Thursday special. I was immediately put off by the disorganized service. Lots of staff, seemingly one waitress for every table but no one really dedicated to any table. We got drink orders. I sat with an utterly flat schooner of Keith's for another 15 min or so before a different waitress than our original one came and took our orders and replaced my flat beer. The food was ok. The Thai soup was kinda nasty tbh. Gloopy and the chicken was unappealing. My bf had a burger which was a standard burger and I had a fish sandwich which was not bad. The star of the meal was the fries and gravy. They were definitely something to write home about. We had also had a very disappointing dessert a cookie dough wrapped and fried type thing. It was half price dessert night and thus only $3 but I would have been most upset to have paid full price for it. At the end of the meal I took notice that the 20% off burger deal was not applied and had to wait....more waiting...for it to be adjusted. Just a last annoyance that sort of put me over the edge. I am not one to post about bad experiences, but I need to. I went there with a friend and we played pool on some of the worst conditions I have ever seen, but it is a bar so that is forgivable. The service however was not forgivable. When we arrived we did not see a server for approximately 20 minutes. We then decided to ask the bar for our order. All we wanted was a beer and some burbon. Instead of pouring the drinks they said they would send a server over. 20 more minutes passed and sadly we sobered up from our predrinking. We called over another server and ordered again. Still nothing for 20 minutes then they sent over another server. We placed our order again. Still nothing. We played 10 games of pool finished up and left without a single drink. I would not wish this infuriating service on my worst enemy. TLDR: nonexisting service. RUN! read more

We tried The Dock on princess in Brandon for supper today. We were very disappointed as both burgers were burnt and the coconut onion rings were over cooked. Worst meal that we have had in Brandon since moving here. read more

In the last two years I've eaten here more than any where else. I could live off the fish and chips. I swap out the fries for the addicting chipotle Caesar salad. I always start with their hot wings. The staff are great. We always eat in the pub and enjoy the beer on tap. Love the atmosphere too. read more

Mac and cheese was good. Services is garbage and the lack of customers reflect that. The manager was rude and confrontational. Looking for a good place to spend a Saturday from out of town and left this place after 2 drinks. Nice looking building but the attitude of the manager made it an uncomfortable experience.. we came to Original Joes and having a great time with friendly service... and there is actually other customers here. read more

Sorry to say food was gross and visually unappealing. I ordered the dry ribs, what I got was greasy little clumps of overcooked batter with a smidgen of pork inside. On top of that, the tzaziki sauce was slimy and disgusting! read more

So I've been coming here for about a month in total. It started off well but maybe I was mesmerized by the array of beers, which upon further inspection were bland in selection. I decided that I'd meet a few friends from work on a Friday night. Immediately entering I could see it was going to be a long night. No organization in the front lobby. About 25 minutes later we were seated, I had always wondered why there was such a lack of seating for such a large space... this just confirmed that wonder. Alas! We had been seated, one would think they would be offered a refreshing ale at such a time, but to our disappointment it took another ten minutes to even be noticed. I ordered a Mill St. Organic and it was slightly cooler than room temperature, a huge let down. At this point I just wanted a quick bite so I figured I'd grab some wings and a bowl of their curry soup. I've never waited for soup from a bag to come for so long before. It was apparent it was microwaved. And tips for the wings.... try to thaw them before serving them. Horrendous. Now I'm noticing the service was so below par I had a question answered.... as I exited outside towards the side I could see a server who was expediting the food was sucking face with one of the patrons who was sitting at the bar. Is this an episode of big brother or your workplace? Very unprofessional. As I was paying the bill up at the bar it was hard not to notice how filthy the place is, have a gander from the floors to the pint glasses..... I can only imagine the kitchen. I planned a Bachelorette here at the beginning of July 2016 for 17 of us. Christina was amazing to deal with, very easy to set everything up and we had the whole room upstairs to ourselves. Our server Kristy was great and managed to split 16 bills perfectly, but failed to mention that there was an auto-grat on the bill so most of us tipped 15-25% extra. Drunk people will do that I guess, not looking for the automatic charge. The food and drinks are well priced. We were weirded out by the pink spinach dip!! Thanks for hosting us! read more
