I also own a 2021 Malibu M240, being that I bought my Paragon from Lake Area Water sports I decided to try their service department out. Dropped my M240 off a month and a week before 4th of July, they said it would be no issue to get it done. I had them do warranty work and a full service. They charged me for some of the warranty work and charged me for the full service. I took a look at the oil when I got home and it smelled and looked like it hadn't been changed. I called them talked to service manager, said the work was done kick rocks, I told him I just bought a brand new 400k boat from you and he replied "so what" I took my boat immediately over to Tommys in Orlando. This is a side-by-side comparison of an oil change. You be the judge on if they actually changed my oil or not. BTW I paid over 600 bucks for the service. I personally would not have my boat serviced here.

Well worth it though for the views, the incredible wildlife and the history. Mother Nature has control over what wildlife you will view not Sea Serpent, so just sit back and enjoy the knowledge, the history and the company of your fellow boat mates. We were privileged to go on the airboat tour and honored for the alligators, turtles, Ospreys, snakes and other wildlife that were out for viewing. It will not disappoint!

DJ, from DJ's Kayak and Canoe Rentals, aggressively confronted an elderly couple who were simply trying to load up their boat and leave. DJ had just arrived at the ramp with his trailer of kayaks right as the couple began loading up. It took them less than five minutes, but during that time, DJ loudly berated them, making snide remarks and pressuring them to move their trailer so he could back his in. His tone was hostile, impatient, and completely uncalled for. After the couple drove away, DJ continued to mock them in front of his clients, sarcastically repeating "Welcome to Melrose" and making further rude comments. I can't confirm this part, but I believe I also overheard him say something disrespectful about other kayakers launching nearby, including a comment about someone's service dog. Seeing all this, I felt compelled to leave a review on his business page, because this kind of behavior isn't just unprofessional, it's damaging to the welcoming, respectful atmosphere our community is known for. For those with disabilities or back/knee/foot problems, they have made it easier to enter and exit the boat with a ramp and a low 2 step up. This was the only boat I was able to find that offered this assistance. But be sure to call first to discuss your particular situation. Parking is close and there is a paved pathway to get to and from. We would definitely take this boat tour again.

It was a great day on the water with the Amelia River Cruises & Charters company at the helm…read more It was my first time visiting Amelia Island and Fernandina Beach and wanted to get an overlay of the area and the river cruise seemed like the perfect thing to get an overview of the area. And I wasn't wrong! The tour lasted about 90 minutes (and it leaves promptly FYI) and takes you along the shoreline of Amelia Island - past the shrimping boats and past a Civil War era fort - before heading towards Cumberland Island National Seashore. This is where the true fun of the tour was for me. I had no idea really the history of the island and found it fascinating how the Carnegies and Rockefellers and more of the country's elite used this random Georgia seashore as their private escape. The history of both Cumberland and Amelia Islands is incredibly fascinating and the guides for both the Florida and Georgia sides respectively were well informed and personable. Plus - you'll very likely see a ton of great wildlife throughout including dolphins and wild horses and pigs. It's a great way to spend an afternoon in the area and a fabulous introduction to Cumberland Island National Seashore/Park.
