Whether I am speaking with Diane (owner) or Jen or Dawn I receive good advice after describing the beneficiary in question. I have a choice between hand crafted gifts or beautiful jewelry as well as candles, or incense or blank books for notes or diaries. Then there is a whole wall with creative cards for any occasion either for comedy or serious emotions. Last but not least I leave retreat with my gift beautifully wrapped along with my written thoughts. I am blessed to have retreat within walking distance. I am happy to receive real value for my money at Retreat!

Despite this shop's relatively small size, it is packed with goodies. My go-to is always the card section, where I invariably find a card for an upcoming birthday or, even better, the perfect card for a friend who could use a pick-me-up or a good laugh. My stationary drawer is packed with Retreat cards that I've got on the ready and I am very grateful. There is a great range of options in terms of price. You can find very fun patches and charms for around ten dollars. If you are looking a bit higher-end, there is a lovely collection of jewelry: but you are definitely paying for quality work that will be appreciated. Diane and the various employees are invariably friendly and eager to help you find something perfect for your friend or family.

Not only were the products I ordered unique, they're so much more charming in person! And email communication beforehand with Miss Lena was so open and thoughtful, I felt so valued on top of the sensation of being seen by this rare shop. I'm really looking forward to an in-person visit soon!

The jewelry is handcrafted, and many pieces include the artist's name and a short bio, which adds such a personal touch. They also carry candles, bags, greeting cards, and products for men, women, and children. The variety is impressive, and I especially appreciated the large selection of handcrafted items. The associates are friendly, welcoming, and genuine. I was greeted as soon as I walked in, and I noticed they recognized and acknowledged repeat customers. That's impressive, especially considering the number of tourists who visit the store. Another thing I appreciated is that they don't overwhelm you with emails. Their emails are event-focused and purposeful, which is refreshing. You're paying for quality, craftsmanship, and unique items you won't find just anywhere. The prices reflect the specialty merchandise they carry and the care that goes into selecting it. Parking... well, it's Pasadena! It can be challenging, with mostly metered street parking and paid parking garages nearby, but it's a pleasant walk to the store. I highly recommend Homage! It's a wonderful place to find unique gifts or treat yourself to something special.

We were so excited when Tracy presented two Rolex models for us that we can purchase same day, the Rolex explorer and Datejust, my husband was ecstatic! He couldn't believe his luck! Tracy explained that it was a new Rolex programs for ADs to have random Rolex in stock for walk in customers. Hubby tried on both watches, along with some sample models, in the end he decided to purchase the Explorer model due to personal preference and lifestyle. I also tried on the some Cartier watches and still considering the Santos or not. My hubby on the other hand could not whip out his credit card fast enough, he wanted his RoRo baby, and he was a happy camper smiling from ear to ear. Tracy was extremely patient and knowledgeable, explaining the difference in models, nicknames, availability, wait times for hard to get items. She was lovely to work with. Thank you for a wonderful experience getting my hubby his first Rolex. This LHW stores is grand, freestanding, and beautiful, with two heavy weapon security guards at the front. If you're interested in purchasing a nice watch, this place is highly recommended!

I originally came in hoping to purchase a Rolex, but the model I'm looking for wasn't available. May explained the process and added me to the waiting list. She never made us feel rushed or pressured and took the time to show us several other watches. While we were there, she showed my wife some beautiful pieces, and we ended up purchasing a Cartier for her. My wife loves it! Throughout the entire experience, May was patient, knowledgeable, and never pushy. She even made sure we were comfortable and offered us water while we looked around. What really stood out was how welcome she made both of us feel, even though the Rolex I originally came for wasn't available. It made the Cartier purchase feel special and enjoyable rather than pressured. Now I'm hoping to get that exciting call from May when my Rolex becomes available! It will be especially meaningful to me because I'm planning for it to be my retirement gift to myself after 30 years of work. I can't wait for that day. Thank you, May and Hing Wa Lee Jewelers, for a great experience. We'll definitely be back!
