My husband and I had Hailey as our server. All I can say is that she did absolutely amazing. She made us laugh and overall gave us an amazing experience. We will be coming back and getting her as our server! Thank you Santa Fe for having her as a server! read more

Our waiter who was actually a cook (but they were short staffed) was amazing!! He should consider switching, seriously. So thank you, Derek for making our visit great! Our steaks were delicious and cooked perfectly. Derek was very attentive and did a fabulous job of keeping our glasses refilled and checking to make sure we didn't need anything. This was my first time in McComb and at a Santa Fe. Overall the experience was a five. The rolls were hot and fresh with butter, peanuts were there for you to snack on as well (even while you wait). Neat atmosphere and decor. Give them a try if you are ever in the area. read more

The wait was a lot longer than it should've been. Our server was nice but he was a little un-organized. Our food came out at different times. My fajitas came out sizzling and my brothers came out at room temperature. The shrimp quesadillas were oddly sweet... And the shredded chicken quesadillas were extremely greasy and caused immediate food poisoning. I was sick for several days following this meal. read more

Only thing good here are there rolls .. have been several times over the past few years and service just gets worse and worse food takes forever to come out once waited 2 hours was getting up to leave when they brought it out . Another time found a hair in pasta ... could've threw up they dident even take it off check just bought be another one ... like yeah after seeing that I wanna eat another one ... when food does not have hair in it and comes out on time NO FLAVOR at all so sad cause when they first opened I wanted to go every night and since it's are only real steak house without eating fancy here in Mccomb it's just sad ... they need all new employees and new management and rules in forced.. read more

Ok, so I've rated this join at 2 stars, who cares, it's ultra convenient to the Hampton Inn I usually stay in when traveling for work. I'm pretty sure they're under new management because the last two times I've been it hasn't been bad at all, almost enjoyable. I'm usually not a salty person, but a year or so ago, I called in a salad order, waited 10 minutes, walked in, paid and waited at the bar. I had to wait another 45 minutes for the dang salad. And after I've asked several times to workers about the meal, I finally ask for the manager and he kind of laughs and is like "woah chief, you must have really wanted a salad". I was thinking to myself, really, you really gonna talk shit about my salad, that I ordered from your restaurant and gave you money for. If I didn't have some much decency and just get out of jail for serving some time in the pen, I would have kicked him in his nutts. Anyways 2 outta 5 stars! read more

One of the worse dinning experiences of my life. Hostess complained of having to wear 3 hats when we walked in. The waitress told us she would be right back 2 times before she finally came back to take our drink order. Then she had to check twice to see if they had the beer we ordered. Then once we ordered food, they were out of the special sauce that went on my food, so they added a different sauce. Plus, it took so long to get our food, another waitress came over to ask us if we had our food yet. The answer was no. Finally once we got our food, we tried to order another meal to go, but of course they were out of that. Then the waitress asked us if we wanted another beer. We said yes, but they had closed the bar so we didn't get the beer. And not one visit from a manager. Guess he/she was too busy closing the bar. read more

We walked in and clearly there were tables open and they told me that we had to wait 35 minutes after closing. This is beyond ridiculous!

Went here a couple of weeks ago for lunch. This was not my first time here, but probably my last. Ordered a small sirloin with baked sweet potato, salad and water. The salad came out and then they brought the water after I asked a second time. Half way through my salad I found a 15" blond hair dangling gracefully between my mouth and the bleu cheese dressing. Upon bring this to my waitress' attention, she scooped up the salad without a word and took it to the back and brought another salad and sat it before me and turned away without a word of apology! No manger visit, no further mention of the recalcitrant folicular product! At the end of the meal the FULL bill came with an extra charge for a drink I did not order. I had her remove the drink and I saved some money on the tip. I would not have been as bitter had they showed concern and reduced or eliminated the bill. read more

Dined on a Saturday evening. The wait was less than ten minutes. Staff were pleasant and friendly. Ordered a ribeye, the wife ordered chicken fried steak, with a side salad. The salad came after the entree. My ribeye came in three "chunks" and did not bear any resemblance to a ribeye steak. I sent it back and received a ribeye cooked per order. We noticed other tables with baskets of hot rolls, queried the server why we had not been offered rolls and butter, she replied that we had to ask for them. She also offered that there was too much waste with unbeaten rolls. Oh, and the peanuts were stale. The place was very busy. Sorry, but the food was barely average. I'd look elsewhere when traveling back in the area. read more

I have visited this place several times since my 1st post and they have been much better visits since then. Food is good and one of the better places to eat in while in mccomb although it can be a hit and mis on whether you will get hot food or barely warm food. read more

Absolutely the best! Loved it! I'm from East Texas and didn't eat anywhere else after finding this place. Just need someone equal to a drill sgnt. Over wait staff. Atmosphere is way too laid back and verging on rude. read more

Terrible. Salty food. Poor service. Find anywhere else. I can assure you can find better places to eat than here.

This was the typical chain fair. The food was good and cooked as ordered. I did have a mix up with the food. I ordered two sides and then when the food came out I was missing the mushroom gravy and one of the sides was not what I ordered. I ate here for a late lunch or early supper. I would return if I am in an area where this chain is located. It was nothing special but it was good and the service was good. I liked the Big Ass fan they had over the bar. I was amused at how large the thing was. Anyway if you want a steak I would say go for it. It is not you high end steak place but it is good. read more

We had one of these in my hometown about a decade ago. Haven't been to one since that one shut down. Really glad we stopped by on the way home from NOLA. The bread butter is unbelievable and the meal was excellent. There was a small wait so we sat at the bar and Courtney did an Excellent job as our server and was super nice even though she was busy bartending as well. Couldn't have asked for a better meal. read more

Stopped by passing through. The steak was expensive and didn't have much flavor. $20 for a 12oz steak, you'd expect something that excites the taste buds and melt-in-your-mouth tenderness. It was tender and tasted ok at best. My daughter said the grilled chicken was very good. The fajitas smelled yummy but it always smells good anywhere you go. I don't think I'd ever go back. Texas Roadhouse tastes 10 times better and much more affordable. read more

Very disappointed in our first visit to Santa Fe Cattle Company. Ordered a medium rare 16 oz. ribeye. When it finally came out it was very rare. Had to send back by busboy because our waiter was unavailable. The busboy came back and said the cook said that it was cooked medium rare steak, but he would re-fire it. Finally saw our waiter, but had to call him over to make him aware that the steak was sent back. Waiter was inattentive and very uncaring. A manager came to check on us 5 minutes later and she had to go get the steak because again the waiter was unavailable. Didn't see waiter until I was halfway thru eating the STILL rare steak and I showed him that the steak was still too rare. Won't go back to this one. read more

they were out of white potatoes [for the third time in four visits], they were also out of sweet potatoes, and lettuce, so no salad, no acceptable sides. we ordered amaretto on the rocks and got amaretto and sour because the bartender did not have her head in the game. the steak was tough. the fake telegraph wires overhead were covered in thick dust and what we could see of the kitchen looked bad. there's an Arby's two blocks away, go there. read more

Good steaks at decent prices. While the service can vary the food is always good here. I've had most of the steaks, ribs and appetizers and they are all good. read more

This is my second time and second location eating at Santa Fe Cattle Co. Must say my food was average at best. However, my biggest issue was my server. She takes my order, some one else brought me my meal; then the serve shows back up half way through my meal, not to check on me but to give me my check. I had to ask for a refill. It was obvious she didn't want to be bothered. I'll never eat at this chain again. Two times and poor service was enough! read more

Been here a few times in the evening and food and service have been excellent! Chelsea is our favorite server/waitstaff. Today we came in around 1:30 in the afternoon, and it wasn't good. We ordered whiskey on the rocks and it terribly weak, the food was over cooked, and our service was slow and terrible. Her name was Christy. We will definitely insist on a different staff member when we return. read more

My favorite restaurant in the area. It's a typical roadhouse style steakhouse, with a bit of southwestern flare. Watch for falling peanut shells when navigating through the dining area, as it is acceptable to push the shells onto the floor. Most of the menu is a pretty good deal, except for the "wagon load" stay away from that. They have some of the best appetizers I've ever tried! The Texas Sausage is my favorite, followed by the huge cheese sticks. The Texas Toothpicks are phenomenal also. read more

I'll be generous and give three stars simply because the steak (a 16oz Ribeye) was great and cooked to perfection. Our waitress, on the other hand, was a hot mess. She took our drink orders and that's the last we saw of her until my daughter (20 minutes later) decided to pop into the kitchen, only to find a bevy of waitstaff just hanging out. After explaining that we'd not received our drinks, any peanuts, rolls or even SEEN our waitress since her initial appearance, things started happening. The manager came to take care of us personally, then assigned an apparently seasoned waitress to attend to our needs. One suggestion that my daughter (who waited tables while in college) made was that the other waitresses in the area could have and should have jumped in to help when it became obvious that the ball had been dropped. Doing so just makes for happier customers and a more successful business. Take ownership, peeps. read more

We enjoy the sirloin every time and Santa Fe has become our go to place the staff is almost always better than average and feels like friends. The peanuts are always good. read more

After giving this place a second chance, I give it all 5 stars! Food came quickly, waitor and waitresses were so nice and food was delicious. I recommend the chicken flautas... but that's just me. I take back my negative review. They really turned this place around. It's now a date night favorite read more

One of the worst restaurants in McComb, MS. My baked potato mash was cold, and my sirloin tips which were suppose to be cooked medium were well done, bland, and oily. Needless to say I didn't finish my meal. I left and went to Applebee's next door. read more

We ordered burgers and fries and we received 10-12 fries about 2"long. We spoke to the waitress and she said everyone complaines but they don't care. Just poorly managed. read more

Stopped for lunch and was seated in the bar. Ordered off the lunch menu and added a side salad. Waitress asked if I wanted the salad before my meal, to which I replied I would like it out first. My lunch showed up but I never received my salad and I asked about it. Waitress said oh you wanted your salad before your meal? Ok well maybe people around here eat their salad for desert. After I finished my meal, I received my check and was billed for a dinner meal. I pointed this out to the waitress and her reply was, oh you wanted the lunch plate. Food was ok but guess you need to be very specific when you order. read more

Terrible! Cook has no clue what well done means. I don't care what it is it will bleed when you cut into it. Every time I've been here bad.

I was told at my hotel that Sante Fe Cattle Company was not very good by one lady, and another guy told me that the food is pretty good but that he has never been there and they didn't mess up his order or have strange service. I didn't feel like driving, so I called in a to go order and walked to get it, and I walked back to my room. The ribeye was ok. Not as good as other restaurants or at my house, but it was ok. The baked potato was amazing. Here's the kicker... they didn't give me my salad. The guy at the hotel's description was spot on...the food is pretty good, but they're going to mess up your order. To reply to another guy's review, about peanuts...I took a few. They were good. read more

It was bad. I went with my mother to the restaurant one night this week, we hadn't been in a while and thought we'd try again and see if it changed for the better, it did not. A brown haired waitress came over and grabbed to menus walking to a table, not even bothering to say hello, me and my mother decided she was walking us to our table and followed her. When we sat down we were greeted by a very nice waitress, we gave our orders and waited. About 20-30 minutes later we got our food, I ordered the chicken tender and fries and my mother ordered an 8oz steak, with a baked sweet potato and steamed vegetables. My fries were just a mouth full of grease, it was very visible even on the plate, leaking with the stuff, and they were cold, my chicken on the other hand was hot and the seasoning wasn't that good either. My mother ordered her steak medium well done, it wasn't, it was rare, rare as rare could get, smelled like the steak blood stuff and wasn't even grilled, it was cooked in a skillet. The only thing she ate off her plate was the potato, I ate two pieces of chicken and a few fries. Our waitress was very nice and said she'd take it back and said we wouldn't have to pay for the steak. I decided to go to the bathroom before we left, I walked from one side of the restaurant to the other, no bathroom in sight, the manager finally came up to me and asked if I was looking for the bathroom, it was all the way in the back corner, behind a wall, no signs or indicators, nothing. Overall not good, we will not be returning anytime soon or ever again for that matter. read more

We travel all over the USA for our job, and we were in the area again, after 3 years else where, and the Food, service, and decor are just as good as we remember, we even tried the crawfish etouffe, mine came with catfish and after eating our way thru Louisiana the last 2 years, theirs was AWESOME, we recommend very highly read more

Great service. Ask for Melissa. Food was really good. I come to this area for work from time to time and will normally make a point to eat here. Scott is the Mgr and runs a clean place. read more

Good atmosphere, nice place. Sweet tea was REALLY sweet. The 3 dip sampler was good. Cheese dip is excellent, guac is good, salsa is ok. Caesar salad was drenched in dressing and didn't get past second bite. I tried the cowboy combo with the grilled chicken, sausage, and ribs. I wouldn't order it again but it was ok. read more

I've ordered the Rib-eye (very tender and tasty). I didn't require steak sauce and this time it was cooked like I like it (medium-rare). Normally they overcook it and it's tough. I love the Chicken Flautas (my favorite appetizer). I tend to crave them from time to time, but the sides are mediocre (except the salad). I wish they still had just broccoli on the menu instead of the mixed veggies. I always enjoyed that. It kinda has a sports bar feel, but not really (if that makes any sense), and they have a BIG ASS FAN. Seriously, that's what it's called. I always tend to stare at the menu way too long. read more

I have been working In this area for several months. Tonight July 27, 2016 I went in with several other people to have a few beer and eat. The manager on duty came into the bar and he looked liked he had been sucking a lemon and he was as friendly as a rattlesnake. He never spoke to anyone but the waitresses working there. I stopped one of the waitresses to ask her a question. Before she could answer Mr. No Personalilty came by and told her to come on to the back. Never even spoke to me. The food over the past few months has gotten worse. The only thing good on the menu is the hamburgers. The steaks are tough to say the least. I have spent alot of money in the past couple of months there. THAT ENDED TONIGHT!!!! read more
