Respectfully when the driver arrived he said to my husband 200 gallons, my husband said no I ordered 125 gallons my husband showed the driver our receipt 3 times 125 gallons at $3.07 not sure what the driver did NOT understand he went and gave us what we did NOT want over 200 gallons. The driver did whatever he wanted he didn't care !!! Your mistake your problem !!! And no I will not remove anything I spoke the truth people should be aware how Santa fuel operates this is absolutely NOT the first time I have had a problem with Santa Fuel but it will be the LAST . Santa Energy Bridgeport, CT. Be careful because their long-time good customers mean nothing to them they will protect their employees not you.. All you get is aggravation. They have been coming to my house with deliveries for 19 years and this week the worst driver used my driveway to make a delivery with a heavy fuel truck instead of the road. I didn't get the oil either that day because he also came a day too early then scheduled. All I got when i complained was stories about some driveways have no option but to use them and everything to protect the rude driver. read more

Great, no morning shower. Santa come within the hour, solves the problem and I'm not even woken from my slumbers. Have been pleased with Santa energy from day one! Sharol visited our home two years ago and got us set up for the program. she has been very helpful and responsive to any issues from day one. Tonight we lost heat due to a boiler malfunction with a newborn in the home. called the emergency line at 8pm and by 9pm Stanley was at our house. We were very happy with Stanley and his work. Stanley was by far the best tech to visit our home from Santa. All techs have been great but Stanley was by far the best. Thank you Santa for sending Stanley tonight he was very professional , friendly, and his work is outstanding! I will be calling to request Stanley from now on for my service needs. read more

For 12 years we had been a customer. In our previous house, we used Santa for oil & propane...and in our new home it was for propane. In that time, never had an issue with service...even purchased a new hot water tank from them a year ago. Don't know what happened with their customer service since then. in November I had called to have another propane line installed in my basement for a new fireplace installation. A guy came to the house to do a survey and told me the office would send a quote in a day or two. After a week of waiting with no reply, I called...and called...and called. Six times within the two following weeks trying to get my quote. Kept being given to Michelle, who was no help...I was always told she'd look into it and call me back, but never did. The first time I explained I had a carpenter who was available to frame and install the fireplace, but we needed the line installed first. Told her it was kind of urgent as carpenters just don't sit around waiting answers. But obviously my urgency didn't matter as she never followed through. On my last phone call the receptionist told me there was no one available for me to talk to! Really??? No one around to take a customer's call on a weekday afternoon? She told me she "would email the service manager for me." No clue how that was a solution...needless to say, he never returned the call either. I switched to another propane provider who came out and gave me a quote 4 hours after his visit. The work was done 1 week later. I switched my service to them. Unfortunately, Santa made a propane delivery before I cancelled...was charged $.50 more per gallon than the new company quoted. Gee...had Santa come through, I'd probably never have known I was being overcharged for propane. They showed no concern when I did cancel my account and told them pricing and poor customer service were my reasons. read more

We've had nothing but great experiences with Santa since the very beginning. We bought a house that had been vacant for some time, and a couple of days after moving in in the middle of winter (well below zero outside) the heat mysteriously stopped working after business hours. We called the company that the previous owners had used (there was a sticker on the furnace) and were met with an answering service that promised a call back the NEXT DAY (frozen pipes for sure). We then called Santa, spoke to someone in their actual office and they had a tech to our house within the hour. Not only that, but they signed us up for their service plan right then and there so that the emergency service call would be included at no extra charge. We have service plans and delivery plans with them for our oil furnace, propane furnace and hot water heater. They have completed annual service calls on everything, and have come out for plenty of emergency calls stemming from power surges we've had over the last few years. We've had reliable, professional techs each time and they've gone the extra mile in helping us get the information we needed for insurance claims after the power surges took out various (expensive) parts of our furnaces. We are now looking into adding a generator and AC through them and feel fortunate that the other company we called dropped the ball four years ago! read more

Absolutely terrible company. Signed contracts with them for propane service and to add a whole house generator. They lost the contracts and full fees for all work. I then had to fax them the signed contracts and they made no apologies for their errors. Next, the generator install was supposed to take a month from beginning to end to complete and here it is month 3 and it's still not complete. Scott Santa the owner will not return any of phone calls. So obviously I need a lawyer. This place is a scam! read more

DO NOT USE!! TERRIBLE! I switched to Santa Energy from a different company. They gave me a good price and convinced me that they were a good company. This was the biggest mistake. I should have never switched to Santa. My basement has flooded 2 times due to their technicians not servicing my boiler properly. The first time this happened, I thought they were going to come to a resolution of my issue. They immediately sent 2 supervisors to my home to look at the situation. They came and assured me that they were going to give the information to the proper people in the company and would get back to me with a resolution. I waited and waited. Nothing!! The thing that really got me mad was that they did not call me AT ALL to follow up, not even just to check in on things!! Terrible. I called and was told I could not speak with the supervisor. I called and asked to speak with the owner of the company and was told I could not speak with him! They put the President of the company on the phone. I asked him what the company was going to do for me for their error? He told me to PROVE IT!! Can you believe it?! He told me to prove it that this was their fault and basically that they were not going to do anything for me. I asked to speak with the owner again and was told that I cannot speak with him! Then, I got water in my basement again from the boiler! This time I have the technician recorded stating that the reason that there was water in my basement was their technician's error. They used the wrong part when servicing the boiler. Still, no one has contacted me again to discuss this matter. I am horrified with this company. I will definitely not use them ever again, and will tell all of my family and friends not to use them as well. They have terrible customer service and DO NOT CARE ABOUT THEIR CUSTOMERS AT ALL!!! read more

Have been customers of Santa for years. Bought a new boiler from them, and service contracts, and paid for repairs on the new boiler without complaining, as well as all that oil. We've spent more than $10K with them over the past few years. Now they're getting bullying and heavy-handed about collections. Their service last winter wasn't great. I've paid the price cap guarantee already or I would consider finding another oil company -- maybe I still will. Dorothy Pickens is the rudest Santa employee I've encountered over the years we've been with them. I'm wondering if they've gotten so heavy handed and rude about collections all of a sudden because they're having financial difficulties. Are they going to be around for long? read more

I've used Santa for many years and they have always been reliable. Office staff has been helpful and technicians have been great answering my questions about my heating and air conditioning equipment. I have an older boiler and in the recent serious cold weather a part broke late on a Sunday night. I called, someone answered, a technician came within a few hours, heat back on. I can trust them to always be there for my family and that goes a long way. read more

I would give 0 stars if that was an option. Santa fuel allowed my tank to run dry in 2013 despite my being on an automatic delivery schedule; I took an "everyone makes mistakes" approach and stayed on as a customer. Fast forward 1 year to the winter of 2014... I'm still on automatic delivery and my tank gauge is below the its lowest numeric reading of 1/8th, it's down into the red "you're about out of oil" band. I called trying to get a delivery that day so I would not run out for the second year in a row. I spoke to the president of the company Mr. Russell, who was completely arrogant and told me I still have plenty of oil and denied that they let me run out the previous year. His attitude was as if he is doing me a favor by allowing me to be a customer. I would look elsewhere for your heating oil needs. read more

I purchased 2 year service agreement with them, which apparently doesn't cover routine boiler check/tune-up and flue collar elbow (nothing difficult) and I had to pay extra. Additionally, as Greenwich is the end of their border service location technicians are always late. The 1st appointment had to be re-scheduled as they were going to be 2 hours late and first appointment of the day was requested which was almost 10am when technician turned up, they were also late to 3rd appointment by 2.5 hours. No one called me to let me know that they will be late, I had to call them with 30 mins left before the end of the window. I also had to call to check if the part that had to be ordered was received and to schedule another appointment, something that should've be initiated by them. I cancelled my agreement with them after 4 months because of the above and they won't refund part of the service agreement. Terrible service! Rip off! Don't use them! read more
