She may do that, and when she does there will be a gap in health care services that will need 3 to 5 other doctors to fill. Dr Lunt's knowledge and experience is unmatched in our area. She is easy to work with. Saying that she is kind is an understatement. Dr Lunt has excellent insight into issues and more importantly solutions. I do not know but believe she has helped 100's maybe 1000's of people, because when one person does better so does their family. I recommend her and hope you are as fortunate as I to see her and have her help you too.

What amazed me most was the professionalism and dignity with which they treat each client. I felt my treatment was designed to meet my exact needs - and it did! I also felt I received especially encouraging therapeutic treatment from therapists like Jeff Mailes, MFT, Dr. Cristina Cortez, Feli Hilliard-Rueff, Silla Siebert and Tahmina Ansari. I cannot recommend a therapist more highly than I can recommend Miranda Field. I had a nightmare…read moreof a childhood and adult life. I could have appeared as a guest on a talk show. A previous long-term therapist once told me that it was amazing that I was still alive or not in some jail or in the back ward of a mental hospital. I started therapy with Ms Field with a very bad attitude: filled with resentment, anger, and fear. But soon, my sense of her deep personal integrity allowed me to really begin work with her. It took some time and effort on my part, but now my life is better than I could have imagined or hoped for. And I am finally in a place inside where I can successfully pursue my deepest dreams. It would not have been possible without Miranda's help and commitment to me. To our angry friend on this page, I will just say that therapists are required by law to report if they believe that someone's safety is in jeopardy. In no other circumstance would she "break confidence." If you do decide to work on a problem with Miranda, I am sure that you will find her a person of exceptional integrity, wisdom, kindness, and skill. I cannot recommend or praise her or our results highly enough to do her justice. Best of luck to all who read this.

When you set out to find a therapist to help you through your life issues, you want one who can…read morerelate or empathize with you and more importantly you want someone you can TRUST! There is something very powerful when the therapist you're working with really truly "gets you" and who intuitively guides you to real inner peace. That therapist is Jacquelyn. I think it's her life goal to bring love, honesty, humanity and encouragement to every soul she meets. She is a true healer!!! If you want to really rid yourself of your personal hell and be a happy person then I encourage you to TRUST HER and let her perform a sort of autopsy of your mind and life. Together with Jacquelyn's guidance you can discover your life blocks, overcome them and set out on a new direction of personal achievements. I'm not sure where I would be in life if it weren't for Jacquelyn but I'm 100% certain I wouldn't be where I am today. What I learned from Jacquelyn is that my traumas do not define me. I am empowered by them because I am a survivor. I am a strong and confident woman who has been to hell and back a few times but have managed to rise up against it all. Jacquelyn taught me how to draw strength from my past, acknowledge my fears without giving in to them and to love myself. She also showed me how to appreciate even the smallest of blessings which open this doorway for me to smile. I smile a lot now!!! I have days where I still cry. I have days that I find myself full of fear. I have days that I wish I could sleep through. I'm not sure you can ever be cured of life but she gave me tools to get out of my head and live again. One time I was with Jacquelyn and we started laughing so hard at something and before we knew it we had tears streaming down our faces. I'll take happy tears over sad tears any day of the week. But to do it with someone as wonderful as Jacquelyn well, that's some powerful medicine right there. Get your medicine with Jacquelyn today but don't be trying to steal my appointment times!!! LOL.

My family member was recently admitted to Channel Islands Post Acute and spent one week in the…read morefacility before deciding to continue care at home. While the decision to discharge was based on the comfort and familiarity of home, I want to express my gratitude for the care we received during our short stay. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed by Angelica , who immediately made us feel safe and supported. She was one of the very few smiling faces we saw during such a stressful time, and her warmth set the tone for our experience. She took the time to orient us to the room, the services offered, and made sure we were as comfortable as possible. Her compassion was genuine, and it showed in every interaction. On the day of discharge, Angelica wished us well and said something that stuck with me: "I'm so glad to see you going home, but if you ever want to stop by and say hello, our doors will always be open." That kind of care goes beyond clinical duties it shows heart. The facility is busy, and while the staff has many patients to care for, it's clear they do their best. I'm thankful for the kindness, professionalism, and support shown to us during our week there. While we're happy to continue healing at home, we leave with gratitude for the people who helped us take that next step. If I could give more stars I would!!!!

A relative was admitted to Channel Island Post Acute after being discharged from Cottage Hospital…read more I had fairly low expectations, but have been pleasantly surprised. Channel Islands Post Acute personnel have been attentive and giving good care to my relative, who I visit daily. The rooms are spacious and typically have two patients to a room. The room my relative occupies looks out onto a put-put mini golf area with several chairs and a large tree. The building itself is older, but is kept up very well and is clean. It is not a fancy place, such as Mission Park, but it is in good shape. I have seen painters there doing touch-ups. I go in at various times of day and have never encountered a mess or anything in disarray. The entire facility is very clean also and there are lots of staff, including nurses and CNA's, always ready at the call of a button. The staff seem to be happy and friendly from what I can see. My relative likes the food, which are well-balanced meals. No, it is not gourmet food, but it is nutritious and they provide quite a variety of entrees. My relative was also able to select his favorites. He is getting PT and OT, which is really good for him in his recovery. He also receives two showers per week and is kept clean on other days. His clothing is changed daily. His meds are administered by an RN or LVN and a doctor checks in to oversee his other health concerns once per week. The old reputation of this place was not good and Channel Islands Post Acute is working hard to change that old reputation and I believe they are succeeding!
