This was our first restaurant stop in Valencia, it looked super busy at 3pm and our group decided to just stop by because the food looked great. First impression, we have Spanish speakers in our group so ordering was a breeze; 15€ for an entree, paella, and dessert. The paella is family style so you must have at least 2 people ordering 1 paella (the more people, the bigger the plate). The salmon entree was the freshest I've ever tasted salmon in Spain, fresh catch of the day. The croquettes that my friends ordered was also freshly baked and delicious. We had to wait quite a bit (~30 min) for the paella because we ordered 3, but it was an absolute treat. The paella valenciana was chicken and vegetables, and absolutely delicious though the chicken was a little dry. The arroz negro was our favorite, with arroz mescana (fish and clams) coming in last. The desserts were chocolate cake or caramel cake, and definitely delicious.
Overall: long wait because we ordered 3 paellas, but absolutely delicious and definitely fresh. read more
