I wanted something to snack on before my brewery tour, so I found this place to get a waffle! I ordered a Brussels waffle with chocolate hazelnut sauce. Most waffle shops have the waffles already premade and then they stick them back into the machine for a little to warm them up, but I guess they had run out of the Brussels waffles so they had to make some fresh ones! Which meant that I had to wait a little bit longer. My waffle was delicious! They have a cute seating area inside, but like every other waffle shop in Belgium, they serve it on a plate with a tiny little fork so that you can take it to go and walk around. There are tons of sweet waffle combinations on their menu or you can do your own thing. I like mine simple! I can't remember if they take credit card because I paid in cash!

I just wanted to buy one cookie so I could return later. I was so surprised that the wonderful lady behind the counter gave it to me for free. It was SO incredible I bought a bag of 10! I had hoped to give it to my mom upon my return but If You see the picture I posted, it is evident that I broke into the sealed bag. Have already eaten 4. I am pathetic. No willpower. No apologies. Will return to buy more!!
