The bowl is served with white rice underneath and can be the perfect size for a smaller lunch for someone! They're open M - F and, as of March, temporarily closed on weekends. I'm pretty sure it was daikon. It was ok. Cucumber would have been better. The issue came with the rice. It was severely overcooked and rubbery. It stretched and it was nasty. I ate a few with it and the rubbery mush made me gag. I tried doctoring it up by putting lots of wasabi and ginger on it. I even put some pepper flakes from my edamame on it. The texture just was so yucky though. I ended up peeling off the rubber rice and putting it in my napkin. This roll was a 4/10. The tuna was so good though. That was it's only saving grace. After choking down this roll, there was no way I was ordering another sushi roll and risking getting horrid rice. No thanks. I ordered some miso soup, which tasted like a chicken broth and it was so good. I ordered spicy edamame, which was the star of the show. It's sad that was the star.
