Made it back here a year later for Julebord in mid December. Things have changed slightly. I didn't make a reservation as I was able to walk in last year. Not the case this time. Head Server told me there was nothing that could be done. They had "400 people to serve." After some back & forth, I offered to wait and see if anyone cancelled or didn't show up. Cool heads prevailed & after about 15 minutes, I was seated. (With 1 hour to eat)
Now the food, it is as I remembered it. Excellent fish soup, smoked fish & meats and an abundant selection of hot dishes. Also, a good size cheese board. The dessert offerings were less than last year & I didn't get to it. (Too full!)
At 198 SEK, lunch price is slightly up from last year. That said, still a bargain.
Bottomline: Overwhelming amount of choices for Julebord & reservations are a must as the secret is out! read more
