Nice little place. Peaceful and so quiet. Neighbors are friendly. Water is beautiful. Just a stones throw from the open ocean.

Just completed the sale of my Condo in Islamorada and it could not get any better then this. I know…read morethe agent, Rhonda Simonds-Brewer who I believe to be the most well connected broker in the Keys thru her network of agents and Friends. Me and my wife decided to see what the market was like and asked Rhonda to work up a portfolio and price out the property. In a day I received a complete overview of the local market along with some of own personal suggestions. After agreeing to go ahead with the sale I called Rhonda and told her that I would be leaving the following morning at 10:00AM sharp and please see what she could do. The next morning she called me and said that she had three perspective buyers and she would be in touch. At about 1:00PM we get a call as we are driving back up to our home that she has just sold the condo at full listing price as I almost drive off the road. Folks, it just doesn't get any better then that. Her insight and diverse network, make her the only broker to use in the Keys.

All of them except Walter gave us "off the top of their heads" value assessments and very vague comments about what's selling in the area. Walter requested a day to pull together some information and then came back with comps from our neighborhood (not very useful since the values on our street range from multi-million to under a million) and listings of homes in the area similar to ours. He helped us set a realistic price and made some suggestions on staging the home for photographs. The photos were amazing. And the house sold in less than a week. His thoroughness and professionalism throughout the entire process from listing, to showing to negotiating made a great impression on us. We'd highly recommend him.

Check in was quick, and very friendly with recommendations. Our room was on the second floor again, this time an ocean front and wow - it's worth it. We had the courtyard view last time and it's also a very pretty view - you can't lose. The pool area and bar is so wonderful - very scenic, and the service at the bar is great. They have a great menu for lunch options that they bring out to you. The room was very clean, modern, and spacious. You can request a microwave if you need too! There are bikes, paddle boards, and kayaks for rental for free. Lots of things going on in between the three resorts - we wish we'd had a chance to try the yoga! We will be back for years to come.

After 3 days my wife had to threaten the front desk staff with using towels to wipe her ass if the maids didn't restock the toilet paper in our room. Totally unacceptable for a resort. They kept assuring us the rooms service maids were coming in daily, but they never did until she threatened to come down and make a scene. The staff seemed unmotivated to complete even the basic cleaning tasks. We only asked for two coffee k cups, clean towels and the two room garbage cans to be emptied on a daily basis. That was just too demanding and the staff tried to mean-mug us when we came and went but finally got it done for the final two days of our visit. I'd advise you visit another property because the service is nonexistent and a total disappointment. Their on site restaurant was a joke as well. Completely overpriced and out of touch given the location. Every other restaurant we visited in the area was excellent, but theirs was almost always empty. The menu was way overpriced and there were countless local options that were much better and less expensive. Nearly all the staff on site see to be unwilling to provide service to customers and displaying a shitty attitude overall. Leadership changes need to take place or this property will crumble. Good location, just bad service with inadequate leadership supervision.

We were embarrassed that we had invited relatives to go on this vacation with us. The house stunk. It looked as if there had been an attempt at renovation but someone gave up. Outside, there were construction debris and a trash container with a hideous odor (which had obviously been sitting for some time beside the street). There were mold and holes in the walls both upstairs and downstairs. Some lightning fixtures were installed too near the ceilings and the paint was burning off. We were afraid to leave the lights on for too long a time. One load of clothes in the washer and dryer took a very, very long time to cycle. The linens were threadbare and the mattresses uncomfortable. We were seriously overcharged for this rental and will never return to Islamorada."

It seems to me that if someone has used a service successfully for 20 years and a problem arose that couldn't be rectified, that seemed to be fault of the client, is a pretty good track record. Sherry G and Courtney N and their 4 other guest should have gone to enjoy Miami or Fort Lauderdale. If given lemons, make lemonaid.
